Lil Reese shared a new photo of himself from jail and the internet went crazy. The rapper was arrested in September of this year on an alleged aggravated assault of a family or household member charge. Reese had allegedly punched and choked his ex-girlfriend while at The Pinkhouse nightclub in Houston, Texas.
On Monday, November 11, Lil Reese released an Instagram story from behind bars of what looked like a screenshot of a phone recording of his face. Reece sported an orange prison uniform while throwing up a sign with one hand and using a prison telephone with the other. Reese accompanied the picture with Lil Durk's 2019 hit track Love Songs 4 the Streets.
Social media users claimed that Reese was crazy for allegedly loving his time in prison. One Instagram user, who went by @brennxn_ wrote underneath DJ Akademiks' post of Reese's photo:
"Loving it in jail is beyond insanity 😂😂😂😂😂"

Similar comments followed as social media users reminisced about Reese being a rapper with very high potential. Other users were not too thrilled about why the rapper was in prison and made fun of how he looked.

Lil Reese was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend
Lil Reese was arrested on September 30, 2024, after allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Tavares Lamont Taylor a.k.a Lil Reese was taken into custody after being spotted at a nightclub called The Adress. Following his arrest, Reese made a court appearance on October 16 before going back to being behind bars.
According to a Houston Police Department report, Reese and his girlfriend were at The Pinkhouse nightclub in Houston when the former allegedly tried to forcefully kiss her. An agitated Reese allegedly punched the woman and even tried to strangle her.
The victim had several injuries on her neck and face including fingernail scratches as a result of the alleged attack and a search warrant was put out for Reese. The victim's story was also corroborated by her friend who witnessed the alleged attack by Reese. According to Hot New Hip-Hop, the rapper's attorney stated that he "vehemently" denied the charges.
Lil Reese previously ran into legal trouble back in July 2024 when he was arrested on suspicion of r*pe. However, ten days after his arrest, the case was dropped by the L.A. District Attorney's Office due to insufficient evidence, and the rapper was released.
