About the Humor & Harmony Weekend that Dave Chappelle attended

50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson began his charity festival named Humor & Harmony, on Thursday, August 8. The event took place as a collaboration between Cent's own company Sire Spirits and his charity organization- The G-unity Foundation. Beginning on August 8, it is expected to go on till Sunday, August 11, 2024.

The event organized by 50 Cent witnessed the presence of several celebrities including Andrew Schulz, Bill Bellamy, and 2 Chainz. Cent established the charity organization, back in 2005, when he decided to do something for the underprivileged sections of society.

The venue of the charity festival was the Big Bowl Comedy Show at the iconic Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. For people who failed to witness the popular Big Bowl Comedy Show at the venue, watch it at Shreveport's G-Done, which could accommodate more than 4,000 people and could stay open till 6 in the morning.

On Friday, a basketball match known as the Humor & Harmony Celebrity Basketball Game is to be held at the Stageworks in Shreveport. The primary organizer, 50 Cent, is well-known for his philanthropic work over the years. In 2023, he told Forbes that he felt good after focusing on charity work apart from staying strictly associated with music.

Like Cent, Dave Chappelle had also been known for helping people, in the past. Back in June 2022, in the middle of his Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, Chappelle revealed that he would donate ticket sales to the families who were victims of the Tops Supermarket shooting incident.

Dave Chappelle reportedly also invited some of the victims' families to the stand-up show.
