On January 1, 2025, Rihanna posted an Instagram video sharing a countdown to the new year. The video featured the singer holding her phone with a countdown leading to 2025.

In the comment section, Instagram user @lorenzohirmez wrote:

"We want an album forehead."

In response, RiRi hit back at the fan and wrote:

“Listen Lorenzo! You ain’t cute enough to be calling me by my black name you dizzy f**k!”

The report also suggests that RiRi's next album will feature multiple collaborations. The artist typically releases her albums at the end of the year so new music could reportedly come at the end of 2025.
