Creepin' rapper 21 Savage went live on Instagram on May 26, 2024, wherein he talked about Metro Boomin and Drake's famous feud. Despite 21 Savage and Metro Boomin often collaborating on songs, the latter was quick to call the redrum rapper "OVO Savage" in the Instagram Live comments section.
This was seemingly a dig at 21 Savage for having amicable relations with Drizzy and his record label OVO Sound.
Additionally, Metro Boomin also commented on the Good Good rapper getting an "owl tramp stamp," indicating the owl logo of Drake's OVO fashion line. On reading the comments, 21 Savage removed Metro Boomin from the live and asked him to get off his life, stating he would block the Superhero rapper.
21 Savage proceeded to express his discontent with Metro Boomin's comments and used lyrics from Drake's Push Ups to shut down Metro Boomin:
“Metro, shut your ho a** up and make some drums, n***a."
"Those n***as going to figure that sh*t out eventually"- 21 Savage comments on feud between Metro Boomin and Drake
In his recent Instagram Live, 21 Savage asked fans to stop asking him about the feud between Drake and Metro Boomin. The Rich Flex rapper said that people shouldn't come to his Live to talk about the beef:
"Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Those n***as going to figure that sh*t out eventually," he said.
The three rappers have collaborated in the past on songs like Mr. Right Now. However, the feud between Drake and Metro Boomin traces back to December 2023 when Metro Boomin called out Drake and Savage's Her Loss winning over his rap song Heroes & Villains in a now-deleted tweet.
Drizzy replied to the same by calling Metro Boomin "tweet-and-deleters". While there wasn't much back and forth after the incident, the feud escalated with Metro Boomin's involvement in Kendrick and Drake's feud as he was a part of Lamar's diss track Like That, alongside Future.
Drake then targeted Metro Boomin in Push Ups, after which the latter launched the BBL Drizzy contest wherein he generated a beat for fans to rap on announcing the best rap would win $10,000 as prize money. BBL Drizzy hints at the rumors of Drake having undergone the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure and other physical enhancement surgeries.
In a surprising response to Metro Boomin, Drizzy himself rapped over the BBL Drizzy beat in U My Everything released on May 24, 2024, wherein he attempted to change the narrative with lyrics, stating:
"Me and the surgeon got history/ I changed a lot of girls' lives for real, they need a new body, they hittin' me, aye/ BBL Drizzy, they want a new body, they ask me for it."
Drake's lyrics indicate that he pays for the plastic surgeries of other women, denying claims that he underwent any surgeries himself.
21 Savage has maintained neutrality in the feuds involving Metro Boomin and Drake as well as the one between Kendrick Lamar and Drizzy.
