50 Cent recently left the audience at a comedy roast surprised after he suddenly appeared as a guest. It was a charity event called Hit 'Em Up Comedy Night, organized at the Dead Flamingo Pop-Up in Little Havana on June 8, 2024, and the roast was targeted towards Diddy. Apart from 50 Cent, local comedians were also present, including Lonnie Cox.
The event, which was hosted by Brittany Brave and Danny Creamcity, featured jokes being made about Diddy based on the accusations that were revealed against him after the assault video featuring Cassie Ventura went viral last month. On the other hand, the event aimed to collect funds for the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
Notably, Diddy's viral video led to a lot of criticism towards the rapper. Several well-known personalities have shared their reactions on different platforms, including his former partner, Misa Hylton.
50 Cent confirmed his appearance at the event on social media
While 50 Cent made a guest appearance at the comedy roast, he did not go up on stage to share anything. Also known as Curtis James Jackson III, he was spotted enjoying the roast and later clicked pictures with his fans.
He even shared an Instagram post about the same by adding a news piece by the Miami Herald and writing:
"Yes, I was in attendance. I thought puffy might show up because I saw Tom Brady at his. He didn't come, I had the shooters get your mind out gutter videographers what!"
The post was eventually deleted, and Curtis shared another one with a video featuring a few glimpses from the event. 50 Cent wrote in the caption that it was "some cool sh*t to see in person" and revealed that the funds were being used to help s*xual assault victims.
On the other hand, host Brittany Brave also referred to Diddy's legal issues in her speech and said:
"[The Diddy scandal] is topical right now so it made sense to join the conversation in a productive way. Comedy is what pulled me out of an abusive relationship that lasted for three years and it continues to help all of us make sense of life, especially the parts of it that sting."
Although Curtis' appearance at the comedy roast has been trending on social media, he shared another post on social media this month, writing that he wanted to "slap the sh*t out" of Diddy. This happened after Voletta Wallace, mother of The Notorious B.I.G., shared a statement with Rolling Stone in response to the assault video.
50 Cent is producing a documentary based on Diddy
Diddy and 50 Cent's feud dates back to 2006 when the latter released a single titled The Bomb. The song seemingly hinted that Diddy knew something about The Notorious B.I.G.'s death.
Meanwhile, Curtis' production company, G-Unit Film and Production Studios, has been working on a documentary for a long time, titled Diddy Do It? The documentary will reportedly be available for streaming on Netflix, and Curtis addressed the same in a deleted Instagram post last month, where he wrote:
"Netflix wins the bidding war but if more victims keep coming out. I'm gonna need more episodes."
Netflix has not shared any response related to the documentary until now, and a release date is yet to be confirmed.
