Nicki Minaj trended on X after reportedly unfollowing Ice Spice and JT on Instagram on August 21, 2024. It is unclear what led Minaj to unfollow the two rappers on Instagram, considering she and Ice Spice have collaborated twice on hit songs like Princess Diana and Barbie World.

Minaj and JT also performed at the former's 'Pink Friday 2 World Tour' show in Boston in April 2024.

After Nicki Minaj started trending for allegedly unfollowing Ice Spice and JT, many netizens pointed out that the rapper has a history of feuding with fellow artists. This was evidenced by her recent diss track Big Foot against Megan Thee Stallion. One person tweeted:

Many agreed with this notion, naming other female artists Nicki Minaj had reportedly feuded with and pointing out that she might be the problem.

"Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Latto, Ice Spice, JT… at a certain point, you have to realize that she’s the problem," one person tweeted.
"Now Nicki beefed with Cardi b Remy ma Latto Megan Ice spice Jt Lil Kim Caresha Doja cat Almost all of the rap girlies oh oinka tankraj you are embarrassing," another person listed.
"So ice spice and JT acted as lapdogs for Nicki for a year just for her to unfollow them?" someone else said.
"This granny always beefing with girls half her age," another user added.

Others lamented about Minaj trending for all the wrong reasons in recent times.

"Notice how she never trends for “good reasons”," someone tweeted.
"I miss when she used to trend for music," another person added.
"She going thru mid life crisis," another netizen commented.

Nicki Minaj's feuds with fellow artists explored

Nicki Minaj is a proficient rapper who took the music industry by storm since her 2010 debut album. So it stands to reason that she has had her fair share of spats with fellow artists, the most recent of which involved Ice Spice.

In May 2024, Ice Spice's former friend Baby Storme leaked a series of text threads between them. In the texts, Spice reportedly referred to Nicki Minaj as "ungrateful and delusional." Spice also alluded to Barbie World being initially brought to her, claiming it was her idea to rope in Minaj for a collaboration.

While Minaj has not publicly addressed these alleged messages, Spice spoke about it in a July Rolling Stone interview.

“We [Spice and Minaj] don’t have the closest relationship, you know? But we’re definitely good. We’re mutuals. We had smash records together. I love us together. I think the world does too," she said.

Megan Thee Stallion is another famed artist Nicki Minaj recently beefed with. The relationship between the two, who previously collaborated on the 2019 hit song Hot Girl Summer, reportedly soured after Megan teamed up with Minaj's rival Cardi B on WAP in 2020.

Their rivalry came to a head when Megan released Hiss in January 2024. Many suspected the line, "These h** s don’t be mad at Megan, these h**s mad at Megan’s Law," was meant as a diss against Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender.

Megan's Law is a federal law that states information regarding registered sex offenders should be made public. This line saw Nicki Minaj fire back with Big Foot three days after Megan released Hiss.

“This lil’ beggin’ w***e talkin’ ’bout Megan’s Law/ For a free beat, you could hit Megan raw (Ooh)/ If you a ghostwriter, party in Megan jaw/ Shots thrown, but I still ain’t let Megan score/ Bad b***h, she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The b***h fell off, I said, ‘Get up on your good foot,'” Minaj rapped in her song.

Nicki Minaj's feud with Cardi B is well documented, with the two embroiled in a fight at a New York Fashion Week party in September 2018. During the ensuing altercation, Cardi reportedly threw her shoe at Minaj and was seen leaving the party with a bump on her forehead.

Other artists Nicki Minaj feuded with include Miley Cyrus, Remy Ma, and Mariah Carey. At the 2015 VMA Awards, Minaj confronted the Hannah Montana star on stage and asked her:

"Now, back to this b***h that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press, Miley, what's good?"

Nicki Minaj is currently on her 'Pink Friday 2 World Tour,' with the next show in Philadelphia on September 4.
