Former television producer Lara Trump collaborated with Madeline Jaymes for a music video released on August 23, 2024. The song Hero was officially released back in May, and Jaymes dropped the music video for it late last month. While Madeline starts the song, Lara sings the second verse, with the lyrics:

"Without your bravery, we’re all out of luck/ No, this can’t be denied/ You got to be special/ It takes a lot to put you last and everybody first/ With your heart they could make gold."

Lara Trump, who is also Donald Trump's daughter-in-law and the co-chair of the Republican National Convention, has received quite a lot of criticism from netizens on the new track, which was meant to be a homage to firefighters.

A netizen tweeted:

"I just played Lara Trump’s garbage and both my dogs ran in and begged me to shoot off fireworks instead."

Another tweet said,

"If you are wondering what Pia Zadora and Lara Trump have in common it seems that they used the same vocal coach."

A user further commented:

"My husband just got hearing aids and screamed in pain when I played her video."

Many other netizens took to X, criticizing the music video, as a user wrote:

"This would be much better in sign language."

Another tweet added:

"This has to be ai. This can’t be real."

Another user mentioned:

"I think it’s very generous of Republican donors to allow Lara Trump to use their political donations for her vanity projects."

Lara Trump receives heavy backlash

RNC co-chair Lara Trump recently dropped a music video which was expected to be a tribute to firefighters. The 41-year-old, however, received a lot of criticism for it on social media. Many people on the internet pointed out that she had a bad singing voice and had used too much autotune.

Lara also recently made headlines because of one of her statements, according to which she believed that the Democrats spent most of the time criticizing former President Donald Trump. The statement came up on August 25, in Lara's interview with Fox News for their Sunday Morning Futures, where Lara mentioned:

"I think what people saw with our convention is that you actually saw a path forward for this country. You saw Donald Trump and people every single night of our convention lay out how we are going to make life better for you. I didn’t hear a single night of anybody talk at the [DNC] about that."

She gave her insights on how the DNC differed from the RNC, which happened quite recently. Lara further claimed that the spectators definitely noticed an essence of unity at the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

Lara is currently facing online roasting for her music video for Hero with Madeline Jaymes, but it is unclear as to when the RNC co-chair shot the video.
