Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are having a close race in the Presidential elections, with Trump in the lead. After winning in the following states: Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina, CNN reported that Trump's winning percentage has increased significantly.
Meanwhile, a few hours back, on November 5, DJ Vlad took to X and shared that he voted for Harris. In the tweet, Vlad wrote:
"I voted for Kamala Harris."
The netizens took notice of the tweet and didn't fail to react on the same on social media platforms. Here are some of the responses found on X:
"Who gives a f*ck what you do?" a user questioned on X.
"Only person to get more black men locked up than her," added another tweet.
"Mass unfollow incoming," declared a user.
With Trump significantly leading the Presidential race, a netizen responded to DJ Vlad's remark and stated that the Republican candidate won.
"Trump won already," the user tweeted.
"Me too Vlad 🤝," read a tweet supporting Vlad.
"That’s great Vlad," wrote another netizen.
At the time of writing this article, Donald Trump is leading with winning 267 electoral votes already while Kamala Harris is winning only 224 as per reports by The Associated Press. Trump won in states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Montana, while Harris was leading in some states including Oregon, Illinois, and New York.
Donald Trump and Kamala Harris would need at least 270 electoral votes to win the race and be the next US President
While Kamala Harris and Donald Trump reportedly were in a close race, Trump soon took the lead and the gap eventually increased. Amid the counting, JD Vance expressed his gratitude to Trump for letting him campaign this time before the elections. On Wednesday, he addressed a crowd in West Palm Beach, and said:
"I think that we just witnessed the greatest political comeback in the history of the United States of America."
While he hinted that Trump has made a comeback already, the counting is yet to finish. Only FOX News has declared Trump the winner, however, no other outlets have done it so far. From his headquarters in Florida, Trump said:
"We are going to help our country heal. It's a political victory like our country has never seen before."
He further said:
"The task before us will not be easy, but I will bring every ounce of energy, spirit, and fight that I have in my soul to the job that you've entrusted to me."
According to CNN reports, counting in states like Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin, are still ongoing. Trump is leading in all these states, as further mentioned by The Associated Press. If Donald Trump wins, he reportedly would be the first President to win two non-consecutive terms.
The Associated Press further reported that amid the ongoing counting, Kamala Harris failed to appear at her election night party at the Howard University in Washington, D.C. It is worth noting that Harris had been endorsed by several celebrities over time, including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry.
It is a matter of time before counting gets over and America gets its 47th President.
