The man in the video had his face covered in a ski mask and also had an orange beanie on. A small part of his face could be seen on the video. The post was captioned:
"I bagged Foolio for 10k."
While admitting to the murder of the rapper, the unidentified man said,
"I did that—I handled that because Ace had that money on his head. Ace had put that 10K up and told me to slide. Told me to smack fool ’cause he got tired of that [expletive] running his mouth playing all the time."
An unidentified man took to the internet to admit that he killed rapper Julio Foolio
The hip-hop community and fans recently heard the news of rapper Julio Foolio's death. He was allegedly shot at 26. New details arrived on the case after a video surfaced on the internet. A man with a covered face claimed he had killed Foolio after Yungeen Ace put up a bounty on him.
The unidentified man boasted his alleged actions of killing the rapper and said in the video,
"I’m the one who smacked Julio Foolio that night when he got dropped at his birthday celebration. I ain’t show my face or give my identity away or nothing like that, but I did that."
He further spoke about Yungeen's alleged bounty on Julio, and said,
"There was money on his head. I rock with Ace and them boys, ATK. I will be in Jacksonville heavily. If you know, then you know."
While the man had admitted to the crime, the law enforcement officials have made no official confirmation on the viral video. By now, fans seem aware of the beef between Yungeen and Julio, and that it dates back to their affiliations with several Jacksonville gangs.
While Yungeen joined All The Kids or ATK gang, Julio was a part of the Kill Them All or KTA gang. Both the rappers had also gone all out at each other in multiple diss tracks. The most controversial of the diss tracks from both sides had to be Julio's When I See You and Yungeen's Who I Smoke.
Both Yungeen Ace and Julio faced personal tragedies while being part of the gangs
It would have been a different scenario if the beef between the two rappers existed only in diss tracks, like a lot of other hip-hop beef. This, however, wasn't the case. In 2018, Yungeen became a victim of a shooting in which he lost his brother and two friends. In the same incident, he survived after escaping about eight bullets. Julio then took to social media to boast about the alleged killings.
The personal tragedies faced by both rappers made the gang activities even more severe. Currently, after Foolio's death, his Instagram account has been hitting the headlines. Although the rapper had passed away, his Instagram account seems active even now. While it was reported to be hacked, some strange posts were posted. One of the latest posts was captioned as:
"'I'll Never Die I'm a Demigod'."
Fans came up with a wide range of reactions to the recent posts that had flooded the late rapper's profile. Many expressed being confused about his death. Julio's girlfriend, meanwhile, took to X, after his death, and wrote,
"Y'all took my boyfriend from me. I hate y'all & I won't be the only one crying."
In the June 23 shooting, four people were shot. However, only one of them, later identified as Julio Foolio, succumbed to the injuries. The case is an ongoing investigation, and authorities have urged the public to reach out to them if they have any information about the suspect(s) or the shooting.
