Popular Haley Joel finally addressed being referenced in Kendrick Lamar’s Euphoria, which is basically a diss track targeting Drake. However, after the song was released, many netizens were left confused as the track included the name Haley Joel, as Lamar rapped:

“Am I battlin’ ghost or AI? N**** feelin’ like Joel Osteen. Funny, he was in a film called AI. And my sixth sense tellin’ me to off him.”

While speaking to AP during the premiere of Blink Twice in Los Angeles on August 8, 2024, Joel stated that Kendrick purposely named him, and his two movies, A.I. and Sixth Sense.

“I think he’s too precise. I don’t know for sure and I’m not gonna assume that he knows my exact name, but the way I’ve heard people talk about that and certain analyses that I’ve read about it, I think that it’s an intentional scrambling of my name and that other guy’s name. Because Kendrick’s too precise to just make a mistake like that," Joel said.
