Rapper Lord Jamar opened up about Sean "Diddy" Combs during an interview with The Art of Dialogue for their YouTube channel which was uploaded on October 9. In the same interview, he described how Combs is currently making amends for his actions after allegedly ruining hip-hop.
When asked if he believes in karma, he said,
"Most likely, yeah. I could see that… All of that adds to his Karma, too.... You see him say like taking hip-hop down a certain road… All the bullsh*t that you've done to hip-hop like you must understand that he took a Dope street group like the locks and tried to put them in the shiny suits."
Additionally, he said that the hip-hop singer was reportedly "fired" from Uptown Records after being discovered engaging in s*x with another man. He further said,
"I've been hearing about bis*xual-type sh*t since the 90s... I heard that's why he got fired from Uptown. He got caught in a precarious situation. Very baby oilish. In the office."
When asked whether he was talking about Diddy being caught while "getting a fellatio from a man”, Jamar shook his head and said, "Yep," in response.
Lord Jamar again opened up about Diddy in a recent interview
During his latest interview with The Art of Dialogue on October 9, Lord Jamar mentioned how Combs made Hiphop materialistic and changed its entire genre.
"He tried to do that to hip-hop as a whole, and he was one of the people that were instrumental in handing the keys over to the vultures and turning hip-hop into materialistic. He also helped to take away the integrity of hip-hop when he went from an executive to a rapper.."
He further alleged that because of Diddy, today's female rappers are "overly s*xualized." Additionally, in the same interview, Jamar talked about how the rapper was allegedly regarded as a "good party promoter" prior to becoming a well-known rapper and record label owner.
The Brand Nubian member also said that Combs reportedly used to throw parties in New York with event planner Jessica Rosenblum, who rose to fame in the 1990s. Jamar then claimed to have attended one of the "good parties" that Sean and Rosenblum threw in the city at several locations with women, celebrities, and business executives in "public," where there was no "outwardly gay sh*t" going on.
He said that those were "parties you would want to go to," not the "freak off" parties with "baby oil and stuff." According to Lord, those started after Diddy allegedly gained enormous fame, acquired several mansions and began throwing parties in them.
In a separate interview with the same channel uploaded on October 5, he also asserted that he thought there were people in hip-hop "pressing the buttons" and that Sean was a member of the "gay mafia." After naming Diddy, aka Puffy, he said,
"This is part of it. You just saw one of the gay mafia members. That's who he is. That's who Puffy is. He is one of the members of the mob. He's a mafia member. But he might not be the Don Carl. He is not the godfather. He is one of the heads of the family."
He also discussed why he believed Jay-Z could be the next well-known person to come under scrutiny following Combs. Jamar then brought up Jay-Z's alleged long-standing friendship with Diddy, which is presently being questioned because Combs is still facing legal action.
Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, was arrested in New York following a grand jury indictment almost 20 days before the first Art of Dialogue interview on October 5. The rapper is currently held at a prison called Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York City, after being accused of fraud, s*x trafficking, and racketeering.
