Enchanting, a rapper signed to Gucci Mane’s The New 1017 Records has passed away. The news of her passing was confirmed by the latter on his Instagram account. The official cause of death has not been made public. It has been revealed that she was struggling with withdrawal from substances prior to her passing.
On Tuesday, June 11, Enchanting’s sister, her alleged boyfriend, Lilcj Kasino, and Gucci Mane took to the internet to confirm her death. Her team also told The Shade Room news outlet that she was suffering from withdrawal and had overdosed some days prior to her passing. A member of her team stated:
“She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried.”

The musician, whose real name was Channing Nicole Larry, was just 26 years old at the time of her death.

Enchanting’s family confirmed on social media that she was taken off of life support after being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. While paying tribute to Larry, Kasino also said online:
“They Don’t Know Hours You Spent At The Kasino Studio Sleeping There Making Music Putting This Sh*t Together And You Went Way Further Than Us I Always Told You How Proud I Was Of You.”
Enchanting was admitted to the hospital on June 10. The reason behind the same was not made public then. However, her sister took to Facebook to address false claims of her having passed away on that day and also told fans that she was not in the best shape.
Kayy Jayy stated online that she feels free to "curse" at her sister's fans since she is not a celebrity as many were sharing misinformation about Larry dying on June 10. She then encouraged followers to wait for information as Larry fought for her life in the ICU. She also said, "Don't Give Up On Her Just Yet!!!"
Channing Nicole Larry’s manager, Jimmy Jackson, also took to Instagram while she was fighting for her life to share his hopes of her not giving up. He said in an Instagram story:
“Right when we was about to shock the world this s**t my head all f**ked up!!!... DAM MANE! don’t give up keep fighting GOD GOT THE LAST WORD”
For those uninitiated, Enchanting signed with The New 1017 Records in 2021 before releasing her No Luv album the next year. Her last album release was Luv Scarred/No Luv. The musician was on her way to garnering stardom as her song He Can’t Reach featured on HBO’s Rap Sh!t. She had been dedicated to honing her musical talent.
Speaking about her style which she believed was similar to “Trap-b-Blues,” she said to the record label:
“I had to get comfortable with my voice. Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at.”
