"All his personality gone" — Fans react as new mugshot of SpotemGottem reveals rapper's dreads have been shaved off

SpotemGottem is trending in the headlines after his mugshot went viral on different platforms. Notably, the rapper has been dealing with multiple legal problems over the years and he was arrested in June last year after police officers discovered a Glock 23 and 19 rounds of ammunition in his car, as per Complex.

Although detailed information is currently awaited on where SpotemGottem is being held right now, he uploaded his mugshot on Instagram on Thursday, September 27. The caption of the post read:

"Always take my lick and run with it allota shit be bap they try ta betray my image #backsoon 🐺"

His fans took to the comments section of The Shade Room’s social media post to react to the new look in the mugshot. Most of them were spotted expressing their shock at how different he appeared in the picture and a user wrote:

Similar reactions continued in the post, with people using various words to describe his look. A user wrote that he was looking like a “grown baby” along with another saying that he resembled a “6 month old.”

SpotemGottem has worked with a few record labels until now, including Interscope. He has released four mixtapes so far and Beat Box is the most successful single in his credits, which remained on top of the charts for a long time.

SpotemGottem’s arrest footage was revealed earlier this year

Also known as Nehemiah Lamar Harden, the rapper was arrested in Miami on July 19, 2023. XXL Magazine reported that multiple charges such as firearm possession by a convicted felon, burglary, eluding police officers, and aggravated assault were imposed on him.

The arrest report revealed that SpottemGottem’s vehicle had tinted windows and he tried to run away from the cops as they approached him. However, he failed to escape after his car hit another vehicle.

The police captured Nehemiah and checked his car where they found a Glock 23 alongside an extended .40-caliber gun magazine, 19 rounds of ammunition, and a loose .40-caliber round. Nehemiah was then taken into custody since he did not have a permit to have possession of the weapons. He even had a suspended license at the same time.

Notably, the footage of the arrest was obtained in March 2024 where SpottemGottem was reportedly spotted hiding in a shed before the cops captured him, as per HipHopDX.

The footage also disclosed that the police ordered him to surrender and he came out crawling on his hands and knees. His gold chains were later taken away by the cops.

SpotemGottem was previously arrested on similar charges in 2021 after US Marshals discovered him with an AK-47 inside a hotel. The Marshals captured him based on an arrest warrant issued in June of the same year where he was allegedly involved in a case where a car smashed the gate of a parking garage near 10th Street and Collins Avenue.
