Eminem's dig on Diddy over Tupac Shakur's murder accusation in his new version of Fuel had fans in a frenzy. On September 13, 2024, Eminem (aka Marshall Mathers) released the Expanded Mourners Edition of his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). The album includes a new version of his Feud, featuring Grip and Westside Boogie.

In the track, the Rap God rapper had some stern words for Diddy.

"So who'll be picked next, whose name gonna be next up?/Notorious B.I.G.'s death was the domino effect of Tupac's murder," Em raps. "Like facial tissue, whose clock should I clean next? Puff's?/'Til he's in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?/Like gee, never turned himself in, who knows all the murders there'll have been?!?" he rapped in Feud.

Fans were quick to hop onto X (formerly Twitter), giving their opinion on Eminem's latest dig. Some popular reactions are as follows:

"Always been one of the realest," wrote a fan on X.
"I hope Eminem’s pen stays on Diddy’s neck forever," tweeted another.
"Eminem tryna ruin Diddy. I 100% approve," declared another fan on X.

One fan opined that they'd never heard the rapper diss someone as much as Diddy, tweeting:

"Also I’ve genuinely never heard Eminem hate someone the way he seems to hate Diddy at this point lmao. ANOTHER shot on that Fuel remix. I wonder what Diddy did to him."
"Eminem taking more shots at diddy," declared one user.
""Perhaps" is most surprising Way to spell "for sure"," quipped another fan on X.

Although Diddy has never been charged with killing Tupac, his involvement has long been speculated. According to Daily Mail, Duane "Keefe D" Davis, the man charged with killing Tupac Shakur had previously claimed that he was offered $1 million by Diddy to kill Shakur.

Eminem also had words for Diddy in the original version of Feud. Releasing in July, the track featured JID. In the original version, the 51-year-old rapped:

"Do not test like an essay (Why?)/’Cause like where my homies out West, aye (Yeah)," Em raps. "We can just say (What?)/I'm like an R-A-P-E-R/I got so many S-As/S-As/Wait, he didn't just spell the word rapper and leave out a 'P', did he?/Yup/R-I-P, rest in peace, "

He continued in the rap:

"Biggie/And ’Pac, both of y'all should be living/Yup, but I ain't tryna beef with him ’cause he might put a hit on me like Keefe D, get him/And that's the only way you're gonna be killing me (Nah)/Ain't gonna be on no beat, silly (Yeah)."
