Young Thug recently came to the court on October 23, 2024, and his appearance grabbed a lot of attention on different platforms. The rapper is currently dealing with a legal issue in which RICO charges were filed against him and 28 others around two years ago. The accused were linked to Thug's company YSL Records.
Meanwhile, during his latest visit to the court, Thug was spotted wearing a black hoodie which featured the following words written on top:
"I Love Mariah."
Notably, the words referred to his girlfriend and singer Mariah the Scientist, whose birthday is on October 27. Also known as Mariah Amani Buckles, she has three major projects in her credits, starting with the debut album Master, which came out in 2019.

Mariah has addressed her relationship with Young Thug on different occasions, including an interview on the podcast Unapologetically Angel in September. She said at the time that she had been visiting court since the situation resembled a long-distance relationship. She further stated:
"Sometimes I fall asleep in there. I just go to breathe his air… I love my man, yes. I love him."
A glimpse of Thug's court appearance wearing a T-shirt was shared by The Shade Room on October 25 and netizens took to the comments section of their Instagram post to react to the same. One of them also wrote:
"This is an example of If he wanted to he would.."
A majority of the users were spotted praising the love between Mariah the Scientist and Young Thug. On the other hand, a section of the public also questioned the reason behind falling in love with someone who is in prison.
Mariah the Scientist was not allowed to visit Young Thug earlier this month
Mariah and Thug have been romantically linked for around three years and the former decided to celebrate their anniversary by visiting her partner in prison on October 6. However, the 26-year-old was not allowed to speak to Thug virtually since the prison authorities claimed that the system was down.
Mariah the Scientist later appeared on Instagram Live, where she addressed her anger, saying that she had a sign of "Happy Anniversary" along with a Scotch Tape as she traveled to the prison, which is 30 minutes away from the city. She continued by saying:
"I done did all this sh*t and now I can't see my man on my anniversary. It's always some sh*t huh? That's ok that's fine, it's whatever, I'll try it again."
As mentioned, Mariah the Scientist opened up on her relationship with Young Thug on Unapologetically Angel. During the conversation that happened on September 20, 2024, she addressed her experience of staying away from him considering that he is in prison, and said:
"It's hard… If somebody told me that a few months into my relationship my man would get locked up? He's been locked up now for longer than we were in a relationship before he got locked up."
Young Thug's trial began in November last year and as per the latest update, the proceedings will continue from Monday after Judge Paige Reese Whitaker dismissed everyone for the day on October 24, 2024.
