The Mayor of Saint-Denis, Mathieu Hanotin, has announced the same in a post on X, as he mentioned,
“Saint-Denis, the final stop before the Eiffel Tower! An international casting- Snoop Dogg for the final journey of the Olympic flame. With a concert by @Slimaneoff as the highlight of this day, live on @FranceTV from the square in front of the Basilica. In @lemondefr.”
People Magazine reported that Snoop Dogg also stated about the same, where he stated,
“I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris. It’s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness. We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix.”
He continued,

While the Mayor and various publications including NBC reported that Snoop Dogg would be one of the celebrities to be the torchbearers during the opening ceremony on Friday, July 26, 2024, however, the publication had previously announced that the rapper would join NBC in France for the summer games.
NBC reported in a press release that the 52-year-old rapper will host with the NBC Olympics host Mike Tirico, as the news outlet mentioned,
“The global megastar will be on-site in Paris to provide regular reports for the Olympic Primetime Show beginning July 26, 2024, on NBC and Peacock. He’ll explore the city’s iconic landmarks, attend Olympic competitions and events, and visit with the athletes, their friends and families.”
Other celebrities like the French rapper MC Solaar, comedian Booder, and actress Laetitia Casta will also join Snoop Dogg during the opening ceremony as the torchbearers.
