The American rapper and musician André 3000 is set to headline a North American outing and announced the dates on Instagram this Tuesday, June 25. The upcoming tour is dubbed “New Blue Sun – Live In Concert” and begins later this year on September 19 in Los Angeles.
The fall tour supports André's latest album, New Blue Sun, released last year on November 17. It is the first solo studio album from the Atlanta-born singer to be released in the last 17 years. André began touring in support of his album in January 2024 and is returning with the new 26-city outing to engage a larger fanbase.
Tickets for the fall tour are available through an artist presale that begins this Wednesday, June 26, at 10 a.m. EDT. Fans can access the artist's presale by visiting the musician's website, andre3000.com. The promoter presale for the tour begins at 10 a.m. EDT on Thursday, June 21, at LiveNation.com.
The tour's ticketing partner, Ticketmaster, will also begin a presale at 10 a.m. EDT on June 27. The VIP packages and Official Platinum tickets for the tour will be on presale starting as early as 10 a.m. EDT on June 26. The general admission tickets, however, will be available to the public later this week, on June 28, starting at 10 a.m. EDT.
André 3000's ‘New Blue Sun’ tour 2024 dates, venues, and more
André 3000 will kick off the headlining tour at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans on September 19. The Elevators singer will next head to Texas on September 21 and take the stage at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas, Austin's ACL Live, and the Hobby Center in Houston.
Touring through North America, André will make stops in Albuquerque, Mesa, San Diego, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle. He will also host a one-off show in Canada at Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Theatre on October 11.
After returning to North America on October 14, André 3000 will host concerts in Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, and Brooklyn. He will also take the stage at Boston's Boch Center Wang Theatre, The Met Philadelphia, Akron Civic Theatre, and Richmond's Altria Theater.
The Prototype singer will host a concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, on November 9, followed by a performance at Durham's DPAC on November 12. André 3000 will wrap up the fall tour with a home-city concert at Atlanta's Fox Theatre on November 14.
The famed DJ Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Deantoni Parks, and Surya Botofasina will continue supporting the Rosa Parks singer on all tour dates. Fans attending the tour may expect the setlist to comprise tracks from the New Blue Sun album, like That Night in Hawaii.., Ninety Three, BuyPoloDisorder.., Ants to You, and more.
