“I’m just f**king sick of this s**t”- Kesha’s previous statement about recovering from an eating disorder

As Kesha spoke up against body shaming and slammed those who trolled her, many netizens remembered her 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, where she talked about her eating disorder, which as per Kesha, stemmed from anxiety. At the time, she had stated:

“Finally I was like, ‘F**k. This. S**t. F**k. This. S**t. I’m hungry!’ And I am so anxious that I feel like I’m going to explode from all the secrets. All the secret times I’m pretending to eat or other times I’m purging, and I’m trying to not let anybody know. And I’m just f**king sick of this s**t.”

She continued:

“And I remember just shaking because I was so fed up, so anxious, and I was just mad that I had let myself get to that point.”

Later in a 2023 interview with Self, she shared that through therapy and by creating new routines, she has been able to manage her anxiety.

Furthermore, Kesha is currently enjoying the success of her newly released track, Joyride, which was released on July 4, 2024. The song is the singer’s first release after she said goodbye to Kemosabe Records and RCA, after a long legal battle with Dr. Luke.

Having been produced by Zhone and co-written by Madison Love, the song has garnered thousands of views and comments commending her new direction in music.
