Lil Baby’s new album, the deluxe edition of WHAM, has seemingly caused a stir online after the rapper dissed Gunna in one of the tracks. While the album is not available on streaming platforms, it can be purchased.
The newest rendition includes the track Running Sh*t, where he called Gunna a “rat,” causing netizens to seemingly diss Lil Baby online. This comes after Gunna was accused of “snitching” on his associates in the Young Stoner Life-RICO case.
Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, released four new songs on the deluxe edition of WHAM. Running Sh*t showcased Jones’ aggressive delivery on the catchy beat. He also crooned:
“I don’t care what he did, he a rat still/ And I said what I said, don’t @ me”
Despite Lil Baby not explicitly naming Gunna in the song, several netizens were convinced that the former was discussing the latter, as he has publicly spoken against him multiple times. In December, Lil Baby appeared on The Breakfast Club to also clarify that he does not have a relationship with Gunna.
Netizens have since taken to X to react to the Running Sh*t lyrics. One person said:
Several others expressed similar sentiments. Evidently, many were exasperated by the feud between Lil Baby and Gunna. Comments online read:

“This is going to backfire,” an internet user said.
Several netizens appeared to be siding with Gunna amid the escalating tension between the two rappers. Comments online read:

“He might be a rat but he clears baby,” another internet user said.
“And his music and rappin still better than whatever he been putting out. Rat or not,” another platform user said.
Young Thug also made an appearance on the Dum, Dumb and Dumber track on the deluxe WHAM edition, where he crooned about his two-plus-year jail stint. Meanwhile, other reactions to Lil Baby’s lyrics read:
“N**ga is dragging it. Stfu damn,” an X user said.

Young Thug refers to a “rat” on Dum, Dumb and Dumber Lil Baby song
On Dum, Dumb and Dumber, Young Thug discussed spending time in jail after being arrested on racketeering charges as a part of the YSL RICO case in May 2022. He crooned:
“Yeah, n**ga, King Spider back/ I don’t even believe I was locked up, for real, for real/ I was havin’ my way the whole time, fool, you know what I’m saying”
He then rapped over a synth-trap instrumental:
“Never associate with a rat/ Go and get some money, get a pack”
Many assumed that the lyrics were directed at Gunna, who was arrested as a part of the YSL RICO case alongside Young Thug. Thugger was released last year after entering a plea deal.
However, Gunna was released in 2022 itself after entering an Alford plea. Many then speculated that he “ratted” or “snitched” on his YSL associates.
