Social media users were left shocked after political figure, Nick Fuentes, made some shocking claims about Kanye West. During his August 21, 2024 live stream on Rumble, Nick shared how the rapper allegedly wanted to change his name to the Swastika.

In clips floating on social media, Nick Fuentes stated:

“He told me he wanted to change his name to a swastika. Not making this up... He called me up out of the blue one afternoon and he’s like, ‘So what if I changed my name to a Swastika?’ And he starts laughing and I start dying.”

He continued by revealing that the rapper did not want his name to be the word, but the symbol. Nick reportedly continued:

“I’m like, that’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard... he goes, ‘Because then when they say my name, they’ll have to put a Swastika on TV.’ I’m like, ‘Wouldn’t they just put the letters though?’ He goes, ‘No, no, no.’ He goes, ‘No, I’m not changing my name to the word.’ He corrected me.”

As Nick Fuentes’ video went viral on social media, netizens started reacting to his claims about Kanye allegedly wanting to keep his name as the Swastika symbol. As an X account, @GoodA**Sub shared the video, a social media user hilariously commented:

Others also mocked the rapper on the basis of Nick’s claims, as many commented:

“2022 Kanye needs to be studied cause wtf was going on in his brain,” commented one social media user.
“Imagine believing Nick Fuentus,” wrote another X user.
“That is funny to say when you are a teen, that’s not funny to say when ur 40 with 2 kids,” stated another Internet user.
“Why are we still giving him attention,” joked another.
“Why is he talking to you anyway? It’s always these random white ppl who get to be around Ye,” wrote an X user.

Kanye West legally changed his name to Ye in 2018

West has made his way into the center of the spotlight after the political figure, Nick Fuentes claimed that the rapper once discussed the idea of naming himself Swastika and that too, the symbol.

On the other hand, West already shocked the masses when he announced in 2018 that he had changed his name to Ye. Informing the same to his fans and followers, he tweeted informing his changed name, and wrote in 2018:

“I am the being formally known as Kanye West. I am Ye."

The rapper then legally changed his name in 2021 as he filed a petition in the court and stated that due to “personal reasons,” he had opted to change his name. Later, in October 2021, the judge approved his petition for a name change. Ye’s real name is Kanye Omari West.

While social media users are reacting to Nick’s claim about West wanting to name himself the Swastika symbol, as of this writing, Kanye has not responded or reacted to the alleged claims.
