Lil Wayne responded to Joe Biden's latest tweet posted on July 18, where the president wrote,
"I'm sick."
In a follow-up tweet, Biden wrote,
"of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election. And if you agree, pitch in here."
He also attached the link contributions to "Biden For President." 41-year-old rapper Lil Wayne retweeted Biden's first tweet, and also shared a line from his 2008 hit track A Milli. The rapper wrote,
"Muthafucka, I'm ill."
These lines were present at the end of the second verse of the hit track. The lyrics were,
"Motherf**ker, I'm ill, not sick / And I'm okay, but my watch sick, yeah, my drop sick / Yeah, my Glock sick, and my knot thick — I'm it..."
While Joe Biden's original tweet went viral, fans also gave special attention to rapper Lil Wayne's response. A fan shared on X,
"We are so back."
"Gotchu Weezy," wrote another one.
"Close to 300k likes on this tweet already. Democrats, you know who to replace Biden with on the ticket now," added another tweet.
Several other reactions came on the social media platform shortly after the tweet was posted by Wayne. A tweet read,
"Kids today won’t get that…."
"Best tweet of the year," wrote a user.
"Hello Mr. Wayne, You earned a spot on Mars. Best, EMP," shared another user.
