"It’s time to end the era of the purple tracksuit as I go on this journey to better my health and life I must get rid of all things of the past and start new"

Dave Blunts performed with an oxygen tank in Chicago

Dave Blunts' Instagram post about moving towards better health comes almost a month after the 23-year-old artist performed at the 2024 Annual Juice WRLD Day. The event was held at Chicago's United Center on November 30.

At the show, Dave Blunts was seen performing while being seated on a black couch set up for him on the stage and being hooked to an oxygen cylinder. From the stage, the Purple Stuff rapper criticized Snoop Dogg for his old comment, saying:

"Hey Chicago, do you have a problem with me sitting down on the stage? Exactly. Get the f**k off my d**k, Snoop Dogg!"

Dave's statement was directed at a remark Snoop Dogg had made in an Instagram post dated November 9, where he wrote:

"Put down the chicken wings and Tata chips Nefew and that chair gone break soon get to the end of the cup."

The Annual Juice WRLD Day event is conducted annually in memory of rapper Juice WRLD, who died in 2019 due to a drug overdose. The occasion not only celebrates the rapper's legacy but also raises awareness about mental health problems.

This year, the show was headlined by Kodak Black, Lil Yachty, Triple Redd, and Polo G, with other performing artists being D. Savage, Star Bandz, HotBoii, Chuckyy, Concrete Boys, Cordae, G Herbo, Nardo Wick, and Screwly G.
