A video of Drake stepping out for dinner in Miami has been making the rounds online amid his feud with rapper Rick Ross. DJ Akademiks took to Instagram to share the clip, supposedly to respond to those who said he could not step into Ross' hometown, Miami, during the feud.

Fans took to X to react to the clip. While some believed he would be welcome in Miami, others pointed out that the rapper has the best security facilities at his disposal and need not be scared of going anywhere. One X user wrote:

"bro has 200 goons and 10 armed security guards / he can go anywhere in america."
"Drake has a bigger impact on Miami than officer Rickey. Why wouldn't he go to Miami???" Another fan wrote.
"Miami loves Drake more than Ross!" An individual said.
"Haters thought he couldn't step foot in the US," a fan laughed.
"Can't wait for him to sell out an Arena here in L.A. 🥱😅 Proving them wrong even further," an X user added.

Fans continued to share their thoughts, and many added that nobody claimed Drizzy could not go to Miami.

"No one said that lair and beside he on south beach too he not coming across that bridge," a fan claimed.
"He can go wherever he wants and no one will lay a finger on him. Bookmark this," a fan chimed in.
"ou can do whatever you want when you pay 50k a day for security," a user pointed out.
"Who said that?" An individual asked.

In a recent interview on Nightcap Summer Sessions, Rick Ross explained his reason behind beefing with Drizzy. The host, Shannon Sharpe, asked Ross about his relationship with the Toronto rapper, and Ross responded:

"I'mma be honest: On some rap sh*t, it was no conspiracies. Rozay name was said… I'mma jump off the porch. That's what I do. I'mma jump off the porch, and I'mma have some fun, and that's what I did. I had some fun."

Sharpe further asked Ross how he decides when he should respond to Drake and when he should let it slide.

"Is it something to gain for you? Somebody wake up and hate on Shay Shay, hate on Ocho, I mean… Let's sit back because not responding is a response when you a boss."

Rick Ross and Drizzy's beef began when Rozay responded to the latter's digs in his track, Push Ups. Rozay released his track, Champagne Moments, in response to the Toronto rapper's disses within a few hours on the same day.

Champagne Papi was focusing on his ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar, but Ross and he continued to take shots at each other over social media. In July 2024, things took a sour turn, especially when Ross was attacked in Vancouver after his DJ played Kendrick Lamar's diss track aimed at Drake, Not Like Us, in his concert.

Some fans, allegedly supporting Drake, reportedly attacked Ross while he was on his way back at the Ignite Music Festival. In one of his recent songs, No Face, Drake reignited his beef with Ross through his lyrics. The lyrics were:

"Ni**as got lit off the features I skated on/ I gotta know, I gotta know, how you get lit off the ni**a you hatin' on?/ This is the moment I know they been prayin' on/ Try knock The Boy off but f*ck it, I'm stayin' on."

Rick Ross has since not responded to Drake's digs as of writing.
