Drake has been trending for some time after his photo on the cover of a magazine, titled The Drake: For Those Who Fish went viral on different platforms. The picture was added to the cover of the magazine's latest issue for Fall 2024.

Drizzy also posted the photos through his Instagram page on October 10, 2024, including the cover alongside a few other shots captured at the same location where he was posing. The rapper wrote in the caption of the post:

"@thedrakemagazine come fly with me let's fly to somewhere ill…if you can use some exotic booze there's a bar in Chappell Hill."

The cover features Drake standing on top of the water with a fishing rod in his hand. He wore a bold print windbreaker along with a cap. The official website of the magazine says that it was formed in 1998 at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and it is a "grassroots journal for flyfishing enthusiasts."

Meanwhile, a glimpse of the cover was also shared through the official page of NFR Podcast on X (formerly Twitter). Netizens took to the comments section of the post to share their reactions to the photo, which received a mixed response. A few users also gave funny responses, with one of them writing:

"Bro even pouts fly-fishing lmao I’m crying."

Similar reactions were posted by other netizens.

"I'm supposed to believe he said no to the Super Bowl but said yes to a fishing mag… Okay," commented one user on X.
"Drakes living life fishing and having fun while Kenny's busy holding his family hostage with a shotty," said another user.

Some netizens commented criticizing Drake for the photos, with some bringing up his highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar.

"Thought this was a album cover for a second," said one user.
"Everything this dude does is so cringe,", added another user.
"Dot made this man change careers!" commented a netizen.

Meanwhile, some social media users addressed Drizzy's real intention behind posing for the cover, with some fans praising the cover.

"Clever marketing for the release of his new clothing collection," said one netizen.
"Drake a better fisherman then Kendrick btw," stated another netizen.
"Let's how the haters twist this pic to make it negative, bro can't even fish in peace," said a user.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar's beef addressed in a new single by J. Cole

Drizzy and Lamar had a dispute earlier this year when they released multiple diss tracks and the lyrics were aimed at each other's lives. A few of the singles such as Not Like Us and Push Ups also topped the charts.

Notably, the beef emerged out of a single First Person Shooter, which was a collaborative project between J. Cole and Drizzy, and it came out in October last year. Kendrick Lamar then targeted both the rappers in Metro Boomin's song Like That, leading to the lineup of diss tracks being released until May 2024.

Meanwhile, J. Cole released a new song, Port Antonio through his Instagram page on Wednesday, October 9, and the lyrics addressed the time when he decided to step back from Drizzy and Lamar's feud. Cole can be heard rapping:

"I pulled the plug because I seen where that was 'bout to go/ They wanted blood, they wanted clicks to make they pockets grow/ They see this fire in my pen and think I'm dodging smoke/ I wouldn't have a lose a battle, dog, I woulda lost a bro/ I woulda gained a foe."

As per the latest update, Lamar and Drizzy's feud will be featured in a Channel 4 documentary, Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake. The documentary's release date is yet to be revealed by the producers, which include Acme Films and GroupM Motion Entertainment.
