Travis Scott, currently on the European leg of his 'Circus Maximus Tour', seemingly ran into issues during his latest show in Hamburg, Germany, on July 16, 2024. The rapper seemingly enjoyed the concert, tweeting that it was "the best show ever." However, in a follow-up tweet, he vowed never to return to Hamburg, claiming that the airport staff were "weird."

His tweet, which amassed over 5.7 million views at the time of this article, was met with mixed reviews, with one person posting:

Several found the humor in the situation, making jokes about hamburgers in relation to the city's name.

"Bad day to be a hamburger," one person tweeted.
"Did you know they invented hamburgers there Travis?" another person added.
"What the sigma theres a place called Hamburg? Sign me up," wrote someone else.
"What country wants a burger at the airport? kkkkk I didn't quite understand though," jested another person.

Others joined in on the commentary, asking Travis Scott to visit "better" places like Paris.

"Come to Paris bro, it’s better," tweeted one person.
"Come to Gardemoen instead You can get free food from Fridays, and you can get head from the employees at Narvesen," added another person.
"Why? Did they expect you to act normal? HOW DARE THEY??? DID YOU TELL THEM WHO YOU ARE???" commented someone else.

It is unclear what happened at the airport that resulted in Travis Scott's tweet. However, an Instagram user @oldschool.never.dies allegedly claimed that Scott, whose Hamburg concert was supposed to start at 8 PM, landed in the city at 8:46 PM.

In their post, the person also alleged that Scott returned to the airport to catch a flight to London after the Hamburg concert around 10:57 PM. The rapper and his team allegedly got into an argument with the airport staff after finding the airport was closed, and elaborated that Scott left the airport shortly after that.

This account of events comes from an unverified report with no proof to back it up.

Travis Scott began his 'Circus Maximus Tour' in October 2023

The 'Circus Maximus Tour' or 'Utopia Tour Presents Circus Maximus' is Scott's 4th world tour. It began in Charlotte in October to promote his 4th studio album Utopia, released on July 28, 2023.

Travis Scott performed in North America from October 11, 2023, to January 31, 2024 in popular venues such as the Wells Fargo Centre, SoFi Stadium, State Farm Arena and Madison Square Garden, with the final show at Kia Center in Orlando.

Following a six-month break, the Sicko Mode rapper traveled across Europe and the UK kicking off the first show in the Netherlands on June 28. After his July 16 show in Hamburg, the rapper is scheduled to perform in Prague on July 18, with the tour finally scheduled to wrap up in Rio, Brazil on September 13, 2024.

According to The Source, Travis Scott's show at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London holds the record of being his largest show. The concert on July 11 had an attendance list of over 48,500 people and grossed a whopping $6.6 million.

Travis Scott's 'Circus Maximus Tour' follows the tragedy of its predecessor, 'Astroworld Festival'. The show, held in Texas in 2021, saw a crowd surge turn into a fatal crowd crush that left 10 dead and 25 hospitalized. According to Pitchfork, the controversy left Scott riddled with ten wrongful death lawsuits, the last of which was settled in May 2024.
