Tyrese's new album, Beautiful Pain, will be released on August 30

Tyrese Gibson fans can look forward to the singer's new album, Beautiful Pain, which is slated for release on August 30, 2024. The album, available for pre-order on his website Tyrese.tv, follows his last album, Black Rose, released in 2015.

Gibson dubbed his upcoming album his "most important" yet in an interview with Us Weekly on June 30 ahead of the BET Awards.

“It is the most important album I've ever done in my career. It's about my divorce. And it's about discovering the beauty that I found in my pain. That's why it's called Beautiful Pain,” he said.

The album will focus on the actor's recent divorce from his ex-wife, Samantha Lee. The couple, who tied the knit in 2017, announced their separation after nearly four years of marriage in December 2020. They share a daughter, Soraya Lee, born in October 2018.

“After much thought, consideration, and prayer, We unfortunately have made the difficult decision to officially separate & divorce. We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other and deeply grateful for the 4 years we have been married to each other,” he wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.

Gibson will reportedly star in the final installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. During his appearance at the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast on August 1, Gibson revealed to host Josh Horowitz he has yet to see the script for Fast & Furious 11 but is in contact with Vin Diesel and director Louis Leterrier.
