In a surprising turn of events, Jacksonville rapper Yungeen Ace has announced that he has no intentions of continuing his feud with fellow rapper Foolio following Foolio's untimely death.

On July 29, 2024, in a podcast of DJ Akademiks, Off the Record with DJ Akademiks, Yungeen was asked if he would disrespect Foolio as he had passed away, to which the rapper suggested he would not.

Since then the interview went live on YouTube, netizens on X have been buzzing with reactions to Yungeen Ace's decision, with fans and critics alike weighing in on the truce, suggesting that he had already dropped three diss tracks after his demise. One fan commented:

"Bro released 3 diss tracks and calling truce now"
"Saying this like he didn't a couple weeks ago 🤡🤡," one wrote.
"He put out a diss song the same night," another on X.

Moreover, a few referenced some of Yungeen Ace's such as Game Over, where Yungeen had reenacted the alleged shooting scene lyrically.

"Yungeen Ace appears to diss Foolio on his new song "Game Over" with the line: "four in the car, one of 'em dead, three got hit," one wrote.
"He about remix Hotel Service by Pitbull watch 💀💀💀," another on X.

The lyrics mentioned by the netizen in the tweet from Yungeen Ace's song Game Over are as follows:

"5 in the mornin', I got a call, what is this? (What is this?) / Dead on the floor, dead on arrival, Mr. 6 (Oh no), uh / I'm steady screamin' out, "F*ck the law," and, "F*ck the 6" (F*ck the 6) / Four in the car and one of them dead, three got hit (Grrah)"

Some users on X have suggested that Yungeen Ace's announcement of his intentions to cease dissing Foolio may be motivated by a desire to avoid legal troubles related to his alleged involvement in a murder case.

"Maturation? No, he don't want prison time 😭," one wrote.
"yea cuz murder charges are serious... lol bro is smart," another on X.
"Hope he plans for JAIL TIME," another wrote.
"Pretty sure plans do change," one more wrote.
"your boys just got picked up best thing to do here is say you dont wanna talk about it next question," another wrote on X.

Some even suggested that no one should show disrespect to the deceased, implying that speaking ill of them is inappropriate.

"Dont disrespect the dead fam!," one wrote.
"Lmao @ Ak not knowing what play ball mean," another on X.

As per NBC News, the Jacksonville rapper Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones, was fatally shot in the early hours of June 23, 2024, in the parking lot of an uptown Tampa hotel. He was allegedly shot just two days after he celebrated his 26th birthday.

Is Yungeen Ace involved in Foolio's alleged murder

On Monday, July 29, 2024, the Tampa Police Department was joined by Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters, and the investigation department announced the three arrests and two potential suspects involved in the death case of Foolio, as per USA Today.

Moreover, during the press conference on Monday, Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw suggested that the suspects in this respective case belong to two of the most popular Jacksonville-based gangs, ATK and 1200. As per First Coast News, in 2022, the Department of Justice stated that ATK stands for Ace's Top Killers, directly referring to Jacksonville rapper Yungeen Ace.

In addition, at a recent press conference, Sheriff T.K. Waters was asked about the involvement of Yungee, whose real name is Keyanta Bullard, to which he suggested that there is no direct potential involvement, but the investigation officers are monitoring the groups as Yungeen is known to Jacksonville for a very long time.

"Yungeen Ace has long been known in Jacksonville. We are consistently monitoring those groups. We have people that are always watching them," Waters said.

Waters further suggested that all five suspects would face life in prison, even if they did not pull the triggers. He named the three arrests Alicia Andrews, Isaiah Chance, and Sean Gathright. Additionally, the other two suspects are Rashad Murphy and Davion Murphy. No more information is revealed for now.

As things stand, Yungeen is not directly involved in Foolio's death and has yet to comment on the development.
