Lonely Road dropped on YouTube earlier today (December 6) alongside Ricch's announcement about the album's delay. The song has amassed 31K views within four hours. The track is a collaborative work of Ricch and his fellow LA resident, Terrace Martin.

In the song, Roddy contemplates how far he has come in his life and career while praying to the higher beings for protection as he continues to pursue his dreams. Martin's sax solo sets the scene for the song, with the essence of praying evident in its music video as white-winged guardian angels surround Roddy.

The news of the delay in Roddy's album release comes shortly after the Down Below rapper was caught in another troubling circumstance. It all started on November 29, when a YouTuber named Prieto Hunter uploaded a video on his channel.

In the video, Hunter opened a storage unit and extracted a black suitcase from it, finding Roddy Ricch's Grammy award stored within. The YouTuber also shared that he had purchased the storage unit only for $280.

The Every Season rapper won the award five years ago, in 2019, for Best Rap Performance. The award celebrated Ricch's guest feature in Nipsey Hussle's 2019 single, Racks in the Middle. Hit-Boy was a second collaborator on the track.

Upon finding Roddy's Grammy, Hunter invited him to "work something out" to get his award back. The 26-year-old rapper then shared on his Instagram Live that his award was in storage since he had been traveling. Ricch added that his assistant - who was supposed to take care of his storage unit - also met with an accident, which led to the award's mishandling.

The Cooped Up rapper then revealed offering Hunter $10,000 for his Grammy, adding that the YouTuber demanded $50,000 for the return. Hunter also had another condition that he wanted to return the award to Ricch in a police station with cameras recording the entire affair.

Ricch further shared that his representative ultimately appeared at the police station at the agreed-upon time to collect his Grammy in exchange for the money Hunter had demanded.

In other news, Roddy Ricch has also featured in Dodger Blue - a track from Kendrick Lamar's surprise album released in November, GNX.
