Ian, born Ian Oneill Smith on May 29, 2005, is a rapper from Missouri, specifically the city of St. Louis. The singer began his music career in 2018 at the age of 13, posting recordings as Suburbancerberus.

This singer subsequently became a producer, working to produce songs by up and coming artists throughout 2022 and counting. During this phase of his career, the singer caught the attention of big stars such as Lil Yatchy and Izaya Tiji.

The rapper first caught mainstream attention when New York City streets were reportedly shut down as part of his single rollout. The single in question, Grand Slam, has over 1.2 million views on YouTube and over 3 million views on Spotify since its release on March 28, 2024.

The release of his single was followed by the Figure It Out on May 13, 2024. The single's video on YouTube also has over 1.3 million views and counting as of the writing of this article. The video featured NFL quarterback Marshawn Lynch as a guest star.
