Lil Woody appeared recently to testify in the ongoing YSL RICO trial on August 6, 2024. During the trial, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker questioned him if he was willing to give his testimony in front of a jury if he was approached by the court for another time and he responded by saying:

"Depend on how I wake up."

The judge initially explained all the details about testifying to Lil Woody, saying that everything would start over, including that his previous testimonies would be dismissed. Whitaker also said that he needs to testify without lying and he would be sent to prison if he refuses to do the same.

Woody is being represented by attorney John Melnick and he is supposed to be called by the court for another testimony on August 12, 2024. The moment of Woody's response was also recorded in a video that has gone viral on different platforms.

When he came out of the court, Whitaker and the attorneys argued on the statements that needed to be removed before another witness testified. She even told the attorneys that she wanted some suggestions on what to tell the jury to start everything from the beginning.

Notably, netizens took to the comments section of No Jumper's Instagram post to share their responses to the words said by Lil Woody. One of them referred to Woody's reply by writing:

"Bro waking up with amnesia."

Lil Woody was arrested in June this year for contempt of court

Lil Woody has been an important witness in the ongoing YSL RICO trial and he was arrested on June 7, 2024, after he refused to testify against Young Thug. The arrest happened after prosecutors told him to reveal his age and he replied by saying:

"I'm grown. I'm an adult."

The prosecutors repeated the same question by asking him how old he was in years and he responded:

"I take the fifth."

On the other hand, Woody has a history of legal issues where he was arrested after cops found a gun in his possession in 2021 and revealed more details about the criminal activities he was involved with for a long time.

While he was taken to court on June 13, 2024, Lil Woody admitted that he created stories by himself so that the trial would end soon. The prosecutors also asked a few questions related to Donovan "Big Nutt" Thomas' murder in 2015 and although Woody claimed that he could recall everything that he told to the police, he was having trouble as he attempted to give more details.

Woody reportedly became angry after being frequently questioned about the statements he gave to the authorities and replied to the prosecutors by saying:

"You keep sitting right here asking me the same questions over and over and over and over. I'm tired of it, I'm drained. I can't be lying because I told you upfront that I don't recall."

Lil Woody claimed that he had a different story to tell when the police questioned him and tried everything to convince them that he was not guilty of anything. He also stated:

"When they ask me questions, whatever I thought I wanted to say, that's what I said. I can't say from when to when, but so much was going on. My name was on everything the police kept coming to grab me."

Also known as Kenneth Copeland, the Atlanta, Georgia native released his first mixtape I Am the Streets in 2020. He is also known for singles such as Homicide, Penthouse, and Hell Yeah.
