"Bro had the wrongest timing" — Internet reacts to Travis Scott striking a pose at Fanatics Fest but no one clicking his photos

Travis Scott was recently seen at the Fanatics Fest NYC which began on August 16 and continued till August 18, 2024. The three-day festival aimed to bring together fans and collectors across all sports, and curate an immersive experience.

For the inaugural, various artists lend their music to the official playlist for the event. It contained a list of 50 tracks in total, including contributions from artists like Beyoncé, Travis Scott, Taylor Swift, Tyla, Megan Thee Stallion, and 50 Cent, to name a few.

Despite all the excitement about the event, one particular incident caught netizens' eyes. It was when Travis posed for photos, however, nobody seemed to be attentive towards him. This made netizens take to X, formerly known as Twitter, and express their opinions on the same. One person said:

One user wrote on X,

"Not one flash when he posed. 😆"
"'Give me my money!!' Vibes 😂😂," mentioned another user while referring to the current trend.
"Awww Travis!! This is embarrassing," another person said.
"That’s harsh bruh that’s Travis lol 😭🤣," commented another user.

While several netizens had made some hilarious remarks and even mocked Travis, some chose to defend him.

"But hey, who needs pictures when you have video footage of you posing," one person said.
"True some were recording and they took pictures while walking," commented another netizen.

Everything to know about the Fanatics Fest which Travis Scott attended

According to the Ministry of Sport's August 21 report, the Fanatics Fest that took place in New York City’s Javits Center garnered over 70,000 sports fans. The outlet further described the event as the "sports equivalent of Comic-Con."

Several rappers like Jay-Z and Quavo were present to represent the hip-hop community. Basketball player Grant Williams spoke about the event to AMNewYork Metro on August 16:

"It’s incredible! I try my best to show love because they show love to me. I’m thrilled to be here, and Fanatics Fest is a blast You got everything. You have a list of athletes, you got collectables, apparel…it’s a great event."

A number of athletes had also been considered a part of the event. The list included Carmelo Anthony, Derek Jeter, Jalen Brunson, Kevin Durant, Anthony Edwards, and Tom Brady. Travis Scott was introduced on stage by Rey Mysterio. The rapper reportedly got on stage with a luchador mask.

American professional wrestler Cody Rhodes was supposed to meet his fans, however, the meet-up was canceled. Meanwhile, Australian wrestler Rhea Ripley helped a Rhodes fan by meeting backstage and promising to give the bracelet that the fan made, to Cody Rhodes.


In separate news, Travis Scott recently made headlines after Killer Mike reacted to the former's fanbase. Mike had reportedly been getting trolled by Scott's fanbase since the time Run The Jewels won the Grammy award, over Scott's UTOPIA.

Mike had, however, praised Scott even though he bashed his fanbase for spreading hatred towards him. Earlier this month, Travis Scott also was on the news for allegedly getting arrested in Paris.
