DDG and Halle Bailey recently shared the photos of their baby on July 4, 2024. The latter shared a few pictures clicked during their vacation in Italy through Instagram. The duo were posing together with the newborn wearing a white outfit and a huge ocean could be spotted in the background.

The caption reads:

"Halo's first time in Italy."

Halle Bailey and DDG kept details about their baby private, but some people reacted negatively to pictures shared on social media, targeting the baby's appearance. A video of DDG, also known as Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., has gained attention as he responded to the backlash. He mentioned reading some of the comments and proudly stated that he has the "best little son in the entire world."

Darryl said that he is protective of everyone close to him, and called his son "smart and intelligent," adding that he is proud of his son. He addressed the negative comments by saying that it made him "angry and mad" and continued:

"But then I have to that realize my son is richer then them, and he has a more successful life – he's in Italy at six months [old]. He's been across the world – he's been around the world already, and he's been living for six months… and they broke, poor… probably on welfare still, and they grown probably living with their momma…"

Halle Bailey had previously opened up on why she and DDG decided to keep the pregnancy details a secret

Halle Bailey and DDG welcomed their son Halo back in December 2023. While she shared the good news through her Instagram page at the time, the pair hardly spoke up on anything related to their pregnancy. The actress said on Snapchat that she wanted her pregnancy journey to be beautiful and private.

The Let It Shine star explained by saying that it was not easy to hide herself from the cameras and added:

"Honestly I stayed off of all social media. I really tried to just keep myself sane and I know that there was a lot of people who would always comment and be like, 'We kno girl, we know.'"

However, the Atlanta, Georgia native disclosed some minor details about her pregnancy last month. She retweeted a post on X which featured two pictures, including one where she flaunted her baby bump. She wrote alongside the photos:

"Went out the country nine months ago… Brough back a permanent souvenir."

DDG and Bailey's relationship rumors emerged in February 2022 while they appeared together at Usher's Las Vegas residency. The duo have continued making public appearances at different events, including the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.
