On November 10, Cardi B posted an explicit photo of Melania Trump on X, after a netizen reshared an old video of hers from when she reportedly worked in a strip club. The netizen, seemingly a MAGA supporter shared the clip of Cardi on November 10 and wrote:
"Just a reminder, she tried telling millions of people Kamala Harris was the right choice form America."
This prompted the rapper to share a New York Post front page from Sunday, July 31, 2016, which featured an almost nude photo of Melania, referring to her modeling days in the past.
Melania Trump, then known as Melania Knauss, posed nude for a photo story published in a now-defunct French men’s magazine. Photographer Ale de Basseville, who captured the images, told The Post that the photo session took place in 1996. A decade later, these photos were obtained exclusively by The Post.
Cardi B's post garnered massive attention with more than a million views and over 3,500 reposts. This wasn't, however, the first time that Cardi shared an explicit image of Melania. In 2020, she made a similar post after conservative commentator and ex-Republican congressional candidate DeAnna Lorraine made a comparison between her and the former first lady of the United States. Lorraine shared a tweet that read:
"America needs far more women like Melania Trump and far less like Cardi B."
In a quick response, the rapper tweeted an explicit photo of the former American model and wrote:
"This pic giving me 'yea you f**kin wit some wet a** p***y' vibes ...just sayin🤷🏽♀️."
The Bodak Yellow rapper had been one of the many vocal critics of Donald Trump. After the 2024 presidential election results and Trump's win, Cardi B shared her views on social media as well.
Cardi B had recently warned MAGA supporters who had been trolling her on social media after Trump's win
The explicit photos made it to social media shortly after the rapper slammed several Trump supporters for trolling her post the election results. On November 7, she addressed the MAGA supporters and shared a video on X, where she could be heard saying:
"Y’all won, I know ya happy. Ain’t nobody acting like bitter losers. However, y’all need to leave me the f**k alone. Because I got one more f**king cigarette in me before I start lighting your a*ses up."
The rapper even endorsed Democrat candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris during a rally in Milwaukee, shortly before the Presidential elections on November 5. During the event, she criticized Trump and said that he was trying to sell "bigotry, misogyny, chaos, and confusion."
"It’s going to cost you your money, equal opportunity, affordable health care and any rights you thought you had for your body. He gon take it from ya," said Cardi B.
Her speech at the rally endorsing Harris prompted Elon Musk to refer to her as a "puppet." Musk shared a tweet on November 3, where he called the rapper out claiming that she couldn't talk "without being fed the words." This caught Cardi's attention who reacted to it on the same day.
In her tweet, the rapper refuted the remarks made by Musk and stated that she was "a product of welfare" and "poverty." She further highlighted that her parents were immigrants and she had to work hard to reach where she currently is. Cardi B further accused Musk of not being aware of the "American struggle."
As for the current tweet containing Melania Trump's photo, many netizens praised the rapper for clapping back at the Trump supporters who reshared her clip mocking her.
