Since Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, he has recently been seen with Egyptian-American model Anok Yai. The pair were spotted together in a car, leading to many speculations and rumors among netizens. Meanwhile, Anok recently featured on the cover of Offset's new single, Swing My Way.

In an interview with PAPER, published on December 12, Offset shared his experience of working with Anok. He said:

"Working with Anok for 'Swing My Way' was great. We matched each other’s vibe and style. This is one of my favorite cover artworks. I’m looking forward to sharing the new song and video I created with Anok tomorrow ahead of my birthday."

Amid Cardi B and Offset's divorce, Anok Yai's feature and association with the latter have sparked significant reactions on social media platforms. A user (@ixaiahhhh) wrote:

"Cardi's rant coming in 3...2...1!"

Netizens shared their opinions on the rapper's new single's cover.

"Cardi should take this as a motivation to also drop her album!" an X user tweeted.
"OFFSET COULDNT GET HIS 'WIFE' TO DO THE COVER ART 🤣🤣🤣🤏🏾," added a tweet.
"It's coming to end Cardi," commented another netizen.

Many complimented the cover featuring Anok and praised the track, while some believed that the song wouldn't be that good. A netizen wrote:

"It’s gonna be the weakest song we ever heard."
"She's so Tea, to be wasted on this flop a** single," commented another one.

Many netizens expressed satisfaction upon realizing that Offset and Anok Yai being seen together lately was possibly due to their collaboration.

Anok Yai reportedly suggested having Offset's rap chains for cover shoot

As mentioned earlier, several netizens complimented Anok Yai's appearance on the project cover. Discussing her styling for the look, stylist and art director SheShe Pendleton spoke to PAPER. In the cover, Anok is seen lying on a Cybertruck, wearing nothing but Offset's rap chains.

Apart from the chains, Anok Yai wore a pair of Alaïa heels. Pendleton further spoke about the look and said:

"She said she wanted to go there, so we went there! With her suggestion, we decided to go for nudity paired with an Alaïa heel and Offset’s famous jewels... What better way than to pose on top of the cyber truck, highlighting Offset’s favorite lyric from Swing My Way?"

The track, produced by Turbo, tells the story of Offset's affluent and fancy lifestyle. This is not the first time that Offset has collaborated with someone from the fashion industry.

In September, he joined Anna Wintour in cutting the ribbon as a CFDA’s celebrity ambassador to kick off the New York Fashion Week. He has also walked for Luar and Melitta Baumeister. Anok Yai, on the other hand, has previously appeared in a music video for I KNOW? by Travis Scott as a video vixen.
