On October 9, 2024, 50 Cent took to Instagram to share a screenshot stating TMZ had obtained a text exchange between one of Diddy's accusers Thalia Graves, and her ex-boyfriend.
The text exchange alleges that Thalia Graves offered her boyfriend seven figures to corroborate the claims in her lawsuit, wherein she alleged the Last Night rapper and his former bodyguard Joseph Sherman r**ed her in 2001.
The caption of 50 Cent's post saw him calling out Thalia Graves as he mentioned:
"😆 un huh caught this b***h lying ! LOL"
According to TMZ's report dated October 8, 2024, in the November 2023 text exchange between Thalia Graves and her ex-boyfriend, she allegedly revealed that she was planning to sue Diddy because he had money.
Moreover, Thalia allegedly asked her ex-boyfriend to attest that he'd seen the alleged video of the incident and questioned if he wanted $3 million for the same. TMZ confirmed the legitimacy of the texts with Thalia Graves' ex-boyfriend who told the publication that he blocked Thalia's number and social media accounts after the attempted bribe.
"Diddy gonna make bail his next court date"- 50 Cent comments on the rapper getting bail in now-deleted Instagram post
In his interview with Enthusiast Report's Lincoln Salazar dated September 26, 2024, 50 Cent talked about his upcoming documentary project called Diddy Do It. Claiming "he did it", 50 Cent said that he was the only one who had been vocal about Diddy long before he was arrested.
50 Cent also commented on the rapper's White Parties that are coming to light after his arrest. He mentioned that he didn't go to the parties and didn't participate in them either. He said that a lot of the celebrity culture wasn't commenting on the rapper's arrest and allegations against him because "they participated to a degree".
However, on October 8, 2024, 50 Cent took to Instagram and shared his perspective on the Finna Get Loose rapper's possibility of getting released on bond, which has now been deleted.
After his arrest on September 16, 2024, the rapper was placed at the Metropolitan Detention Center, in Brooklyn, and his bail requests have been declined by two judges so far.
In his now-deleted Instagram post, 50 Cent mentioned that he believes the rapper might get out on bail and stated:
“Diddy gonna make bail his next court date, so all this s**t y’all been saying, keep the same energy. Don’t you even try to take that post down!”
However, on the same day, PEOPLE reported news of Diddy's lawyers filing his bail for the third time. The rapper's lawyer Alexender A.E. Shapiro filed paperwork with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit requesting for the rapper to be released till his case gets to court.
As per the court documents obtained by PEOPLE:
"[Combs] was not released pending trial, even though he offered to comply with restrictive conditions that would have prevented any conceivable risk of flight or danger ... [The court] rejected a plainly sufficient bail package ... [and] violated its obligations under the Bail Reform Act ..."
After his arrest, a grand jury indicted Diddy on charges of racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking, and interstate prostitution. However, the rapper has pleaded not guilty to all charges and his next court date is set for October 10, 2024.
