On June 26, rapper and record producer Chief Keef began trending on social media after rapper Sexyy Red and late hip-hop star King Von’s sister Kayla B squabbled over their shared love for the Glory Boyz member. It began when Sexyy Red posted multiple images of her showing off Chief Keef’s signature chains and captioned them:

“We go together now mwah gimme ah kiss @chiefkeefsossa.”

In response, Kayla B shared a picture of her kissing Chief Keef on Instagram and wrote in the caption:

“Let’s be a familyyyyyy @sexyyred.”

The Pound Town hitmaker soon clapped back at her and wrote in her comments:

“Way we fina come get chu!!”

Immediately, Kayla B made a follow-up post containing a carousel of pictures, including the one where she spotted Sosa’s chain, posed with him for a selfie, and another of Keef seemingly enjoying music with her on the bed together.

Sexyy Red once again responded with a video of herself posted on her Instagram Story and well as X where she seemed to be okay with Kayla's "family" proposal. She wrote, "I guess we sharing," before saying:

"You can't run me off that easy now. I guess we gonna have to share that d*ck. We sharing this n*gga. You can't run me off that easy baby. We gonna have to share that d*ck, OK?"

In the wake of Kayla B and Sexyy Red’s bickering, the internet now has diverse reactions. For instance, Instagram user @ayookevo803 commented on The Shade Room’s post sharing the news of the squabble, by mockingly writing:

“Chief Keef ain’t get this much love since 2014.”

Several others joined in the conversation. While some people pointed out that the Ghetto Superstar rapper previously referred to Sosa as her “brother,” others ridiculed the women for fighting over one man. Here are some of the comments from X.

“Fighting over Sosa in 2024 gotta be insanity,” a person wrote.
“The drama is just too juicy! Who’s writing the script?” one person wrote.
“Keef havin his way,” another person wrote.
“This is all promo for their upcoming video,” an individual wrote.
“The true meaning of sister wives!” another individual wrote.
“I thought she said that was her brother,” a netizen wrote.
“Exactly why I never believe ‘that’s my brother’ sh*t,” another netizen wrote.

So far, Chief Keef has maintained his distance from the much-publicized back-and-forth between the two women.

Meanwhile, Sexyy Red later shared another post on Instagram containing a series of pictures including one where Sosa was in the kitchen and another where he was at the dinner table with the time stamp showing 2:11 am.

Notably, Chief Keef was seen wearing the same ensemble in which he appeared on Kayla B’s posts, implying that he probably spent the same day with both women separately.

Sexyy Red previously referred to Chief Keef as her “brudda”

Earlier this month, Sexyy Red posted an Instagram Reel with Chief Keef which showed them hanging out together and sharing a drive. She wrote in the caption:

“Proof dat dis just my brudda. Dis how we play… b coo val.”

Meanwhile, last week, Keef commented “My boo” under one of Kayla B’s Instagram posts fuelling rumors that the two were dating.

In the wake of this, the Get It S*xyy singer wrote on her Instagram Story that she was “done with these n*ggas” tagging Sosa, before showing off her middle finger as she vibed to NBA YoungBoy’s hit number Preach.

For the uninitiated, Sexyy Red and Keef have previously collaborated professionally, including on the songs Ghetto Princess and Bow Bow Bow among others.
