In a clip that has gone viral online, 50 Cent said:
“Even with Durk, I was telling him like, we was in New York, we did Power Powder Respect… we did the theme song for Force, Chicago’s version. Then I was like- “Oh, this, this is them? This is the real sh*t right?” He [Lil Durk] was like “yeah, yeah.” And I said- “Yo just watch him.” His group. Because you know what I’m saying?"

Why was Lil Durk arrested? Details revealed as 50 Cent interview clip goes viral online
The indictment against Lil Durk and his OTF crew alleged that they put a hit on fellow Chicago rapper Quando Rondo in retaliation to the fatal shooting of rapper King Von, who was part of OTF and long-time collaborator of Lil Durk. The legal complaint against Lil Durk, whose real name is Devontay Durk Banks read:
“Evidence shows that Banks ordered T.B.’s [Quando Rando’s] murder and that the hitmen used Banks and OTF-related finances to carry out the murder.”
The indictment added that the OTF crew pulled out a “fully automatic firearm” to kill Rando; however, they ended up fatally shooting his cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, instead.
This is not the first time Durk has been arrested. He previously faced charges in connection with an Atlanta shooting. However, the same were dropped in 2022.
Meanwhile, he is also getting sued by the mother of late rapper FBG Duck, who has alleged that Banks’ record label profited off of Duck’s 2020 shooting.
