A few luxurious vehicles owned by 6ix9ine are going for sale at auction. The bidding process will start on July 8, 2024, and the cars featured on the official GSA website include the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Continental GT Speed.
The auction would conclude on July 23, and the bidding price would start at $20,000. Notably, the vehicles were seized by IRS agents during a raid at the rapper's Florida-based residence in April this year.
While the news of his vehicles being auctioned went viral, netizens took to the comments section of Say Cheese TV's Instagram post to react to the same. One of them also wrote:
"Crazy to think this man had a incredible run a couple years ago whether ppl wanna admit it or not he had sh*t on lock for a min."
A majority of the reactions turned out to be funny ones where a user stated that the artist was broke. Another user referred to 6ix9ine by saying that the price of his assets went down to $500,000 from $20 million.
Also known as Daniel Hernandez, he was in the headlines for some time after selling his assets in December 2023 to pay $10 million for an aggravated battery lawsuit filed against him. The problems emerged from an incident at a club in 2021 where the rapper reportedly attacked a stripper named Alexis Salaberrios with a champagne bottle.
6ix9ine's assets were seized by the IRS during the house raid in April 2024: Recent arrest and other details explained
The New York City native was not at his residence when it was raided this year. The raid happened on April 17, and eyewitnesses reportedly spotted the IRS agents seizing multiple items from the house. Two of Daniel's vehicles were also taken away by the authorities.
While the reason behind the raid remains a mystery until now, 6ix9ine's lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, said they were "assessing" everything and would share the details at an "appropriate time."
Hernandez was also arrested in January 2024 on accusations of domestic violence. Detailed information about the legal issue was not revealed, except that he was taken to a prison in Santo Domingo.
He was released a few days later, under certain conditions issued by the court. Daniel was told to undergo government counseling and pay a deposit of $510. Furthermore, he was ordered to meet with authorities every two months while they continued investigating the assault case linked to his girlfriend, Yailin.
A month before being arrested, 6ix9ine had to sell a few of his assets to pay the expenses of the case linked to the club assault incident that happened in 2021. As mentioned, Alexis Salaberrios claimed that she suffered an injury after being hit by Daniel with a champagne bottle. However, Daniel's attorney, Lance Lazzaro, later denied the charges.
Daniel's last project was a mixtape titled Blackballed, which was released on January 12, 2024. Hernandez has not announced any new albums for now.
