Dave Blunts has sparked increasing worries about his health condition as a video of him taken by a fan circulated online weeks after he ditched his purple tracksuit to focus on his health. In the video, Blunts can be seen sleeping at the hospital and attached to what appears like an IV drip.

An Instagram user by the username of @boutabag_rad shared the video on their Instagram Story, writing, "Get well @iluvyoudaveblunts."

However, Blunts wasn't happy with the invasion of privacy. On Thursday, January 2, 2025, he took to his Instagram to call out the person who recorded him sleeping in his hospital bed without his consent. Alongside a series of photos of him in his hospital room, Dave Blunts wrote:

"Yesterday instead of taking care of his kids or checking to see if he got any jobs that responded to his indeed applications a 40 year old man decided to come into my room while I was asleep and record me in my hospital bed I then wake up to several blogs and pages posting that I'm in the hospital."

The Cup rapper and singer also confirmed that he was indeed in the hospital. However, he added that he wasn't planning to advertise such a thing to the public because he didn't want people to think that he wasn't taking his health seriously. He also shared the reason why he was there, adding:

"This time it is not my fault I'm in here one of my fans at my show at the Roxy actually gave me flu I was told by doctors to just let the cold run its course but I kept getting worse and worse so I had to go to the hospital."

Dave Blunts reiterated his previous statement that he remains focused on "bettering my health in 2025." He also said that he wasn't giving up, but people invading his privacy at her lowest time weren't helping. He further said:

"This sh*t is hard especially when 40 year old deadbeat fathers decide to record me at my lowest moment in the hospital but I'm not going to give up."
