Cardi B recently shut down rumors that she "got surgery in 2 days" after a video of her, dressed in black leggings and a nude tank top, discussing how she's losing weight in every part of her body except her face, went viral. In the video that she shared on October 5, the WAP hitmaker was seen with a tiny waist and exaggerated hips.
Fans online ripped apart her appearance in the video, with user Tim Gretzky posting on X that the rapper doing "that" to her body is p*ssing him off. Cardi B clapped back, telling netizens to relax while calling them out about praising her body a "couple days ago." She wrote:
"Y'all really need to relax ..This is how my body REALLY LOOKS LIKE ...My body looks exaggerated in the other video cause I have a 5X faja [girdle] on...I want yall to think wit yall brain ..Yall was just praising my body couple days ago ...do yall think I went and got surgery in 2 days?"
Along with her recent retort, Cardi B shared a picture of herself rocking a beige cutout dress that shows off her natural figure, as well as a video of her in a high-slit black dress.
Cardi B called a social media user "potato" after body-shaming comments
Cardi B isn't one to hold back on calling out body-shamers online. After the Grammy-winning rapper said that she had a compressive garment on at the time, netizens continued to mock her body.
One netizen by the name of Zhane commented on Cardi B's recent X post, saying that the rapper's stomach "always looks like it's about to rip apart." She also called out the rapper for focusing so much on how she looks when she just "pushed out a child."
In response, the rapper, who recently welcomed her third baby, Kiari Cephus, with Offset last month, commented:
"B*tch you literally look like a f*ckin potato yet you talking bout my looks wit a passion ....This why I be dragging you b*tches by yall draws cause b*tch why you got soo much nerves."
The comment started a back-and-forth between the rapper and the social media user, with Zhane calling Cardi B an "insecure b*tch" and herself "little ole me" before adding that she's "glad [she] could strike a nerve." Meanwhile, the rapper didn't let it slide and returned with her own clap back, saying:
"Little ole me? B*tch you is BIG....and nobody went looking for you to be found you was in my quotes not minding your thick neck."
The rapper's fans defended her in the comments, with others finding joy in Cardi's "WILD" clapbacks to her haters and body shamers.
Cardi B recently welcomed her third baby with her estranged husband, Offset, on September 7. She shared a carousel of photos of her and baby Kiari on Instagram days after the birth on September 13.
Included in the pictures is one with her and Offset's family of five, which includes their first two kids, Kulture and Wave, who are now 6 and 3, respectively. That said, Cardi has reportedly filed for divorce from Offset a month before giving birth.
