Popular singer Latto recently made an appearance at The Ebro Show on August 10 and addressed the speculations about dissing Ice Spice in her new album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea.

The podcast host asked the singer about how she included the lines “when ice melt, it’s just going to be water,” in her song, S/O to Me. In reply, Latto denied rumors of there being a beef between her and Ice Spice. She clarified:

“But that’s not beef, though. That’s art to me. I think art is up for interpretation, and that is the beauty of it. In real life, it ain’t going to be. In real life, it ain’t no beef.”

The whole fiasco started after Latto released her new album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea on Friday, August 9, 2024. As fans heard the many tracks in the album, many started speculating that the singer took a jab at Ice Spice and other artists in some of her songs.

However, the singer refused about there being any beef, as she stated how “exhausted” she is by all the rap feuds.

In other places in the interview on The Ebro Show, Latto stated:

“I’m exhausted. For real, I’m so over the beef. I’m gonna put this out there, Latto don’t got no problems with nobody.”

Latto's third studio album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, features collaborations with many other artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Teezo Touchwood, Cardi B, and even Flo Milli.

There are 21 songs in the album, including Sunday Service, Put in on da Floor Again, Look What You Did, Good 2 You, Brokey, There She Go, Shrimp & Grits, and others.

“It’d really be no issue whatsoever”- Ice Spice’s old statement about her speculated beef with Latto revisited

Social media users and Latto fans were happy to know that there is no beef between her and Ice Spice, as she recently clarified that her new song, S/O to Me does not diss the Gimme a Light singer.

Ice Spice also mentioned there being “no issue whatsoever” between the two singers in her July 2024 cover story with Rolling Stone.

At the time, she said:

"I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her, ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me. I can understand a friendly competition, but I just feel like at this point it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out, and it’s just not even funny.”

On the other hand, the Big Energy singer also clarified the same in her Billboard interview published in July 2024. She said:

"If I was to do a battle, it would have to be with somebody I feel like Imma go tit for tat with. I really don’t mean it as shade. Would she even want to do that?”

As the singer cleared the air, the fans of both artists were relieved, as they appreciated the Issa Party singer for being vocal about the same. However, at the moment, Ice Spice has not reacted to the track and has not yet responded to the netizens speculating about a beef.
