Sean Diddy Combs, renowned music producer and mogul, is facing serious allegations following the filing of a lawsuit that accuses him of threatening a woman at an afterparty.
On October 15, 2024, the lawsuit documents obtained by TMZ, claims that Diddy had allegedly molested and r*ped a 19-year-old college girl in 2004. According to the lawsuit, the woman alleges that Combs threatened her life if she refused to perform a s*xual act.
According to CNN, the lawsuit was filed by the woman under the pseudonym Jane Doe. The accuser is represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, who previously stated that there are 120 individuals, who alleged they were victimized by Sean “Diddy” Combs.
However, the lawsuits came after Combs got arrested on September 16, 2024, at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan under s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. The Bad Boy Records founder is presently being held in custody.
Diddy accused of death threats against woman who refused s*xual act as per court filings
On Tuesday, lawsuit documents obtained by TMZ outlined the alleged incident, which is said to have occurred at a private afterparty hosted by Combs in Manhattan.
According to the lawsuit, a woman, who was 19 years old and a student at Brooklyn College at the time in 2004, claims that Diddy used intimidation and threats of violence to coerce her, warning that her life would be at risk if she did not comply with his demands.
According to the lawsuit, the woman, Jane Doe, alleges that Diddy invited her to participate in a photoshoot near her college campus. She expressed her excitement at receiving an invitation from such a high-profile celebrity.
Following the photo shoot, she attended with a friend, both women agreed to accompany Combs to an afterparty at a hotel.
Upon arriving at the hotel, Jane Doe claims that she and her friend were forcibly escorted into a separate room by members of Combs' entourage. When they questioned why they had been taken there, the entourage reportedly responded —
"You know what you are here for," Combs' entourage replied.
The lawsuit further alleges that Diddy locked the door, offered the women drinks, and pressured them to use cocaine. When they refused, Combs reportedly became increasingly angry and began touching them without their consent.
According to the claim, when the women resisted, Combs allegedly forced them to perform oral s*x on him, threatening them with violence if they did not comply. Jane Doe’s friend ultimately complied, and the lawsuit states that Combs then demanded Jane Doe to undress under threat of harm, subsequently s*xually assaulting her.
As the women cried and sobbed, a security guard reportedly entered the room to check if everything was all right, allowing Jane Doe’s friend to escape. However, Jane Doe was allegedly unable to leave because Combs restrained her. He then left briefly to speak with the guard and, upon returning, allegedly threatened her not to leave, warning her of violence if she attempted to escape.
Jane Doe claims that she remained in a dark room for approximately 30 minutes until another guard entered and informed her she was free to go. She states that she quickly gathered her belongings and left in a taxi.
In response to the lawsuits, Diddy's attorney stated in an interview with CNN that his client has never s*xually assaulted anyone, whether male or female, adult or minor. The attorney expressed confidence in the strength of Diddy's legal team, asserting that they have full faith in their legal documents and evidence —
"Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never s*xually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman," Diddy's attorney said.
Since Combs' arrest, he has been presented with a 16-page indictment outlining numerous allegations of s*xual misconduct and drug-related offenses. Law enforcement reports indicate that during a raid on his home in LA and Miami, approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil were discovered, which are suspected to be intended for s*xual acts, along with videotapes titled "Freak Offs."
Combs has denied all allegations to date. According to CNN, a federal court hearing in New York has scheduled the trial date for May 5, 2025.
