Sean 'Diddy' Combs has recently been revealed as one of the investors who helped Elon Musk purchase Twitter for a price tag of $44 billion and turn it into X.

Elon Musk's X Corp. was asked by a federal court, to show a list of its shareholders. The document was revealed to the public on Wednesday (August 21). The full list includes nearly a hundred names like Diddy’s Sean Combs Capital LLC, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, Saudi Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud, and many other prominent figures.

X Corp. was first asked to disclose the list of its shareholders when a group of former X employees filed a lawsuit against Musk. The lawsuit stated that Musk had failed to compensate them properly after laying them off when he took over Twitter.

X publicly disclosed its stakeholders' names and filed a corporate disclosure statement asserting that “no publicly held corporation owns 10% or more” of X's stocks without identifying specific entities.

Thereafter, a journalism non-profit intervened and demanded to view the records. The committee argued that the public had the right to know the stakeholders of one of the largest social media sites for free speech.

On August 20, U.S. District Judge Susan Illston gave the verdict that there is no scandalous information associated with the list of stakeholders that was disclosed by Elon Musk's company in June.

Elon Musk is currently fighting a slew of legal cases against entities like Legal Matters, the National Labor Relations Board, Open AI's CEO Sam Altman, and many others.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Bad Boy Entertainment was accused of defamation and ruining a drug business by Alfredo P Gonzalez. Gonzalez claimed to be a member of the Sinaloa drug cartel in Colorado and sought $666,000 in damages from the American rapper.

The self-proclaimed Sinaloa drug cartel member alleged that the rapper ruined his illicit drug business and reputation in the underworld after the former refused to traffic minors into Diddy's parties.

According to the plaintiff, he was approached by the music mogul's 'business partners' in 2021 and they tried to set up a business deal with the Sinaloa Cartel. Upon refusing, the rapper allegedly threatened that Gonzalez's life would be turned to 'hell' because of Diddy's influence 'in the streets.'

Soon after the brawl, Gonzalez stated that he lost all his New York-based drug contracts.

However, Chief US District Judge Laura Taylor was quick to dismiss the case on August 12 because the plaintiff sued Diddy for ruining an illegal drug cartel business that isn't protected by law. Furthermore, the court stated that Gonzalez's lawsuit didn't have “any arguable basis either in law or in fact.”

Alfredo P Gonzalez has a history of filing bizarre lawsuits against high-profile names like Joe Biden, the FBI, the CIA, and many others. His case against Sean Combs only adds to his long line of controversies.
