AllHipHop obtained court documents as per which Diddy's accuser, April Lampros' lawyer, had reportedly requested the court to let them include additional facts. On September 2, Lampros's lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, made the aforementioned request and also stated that they wanted to withdraw the emotional distress-related claims against Sony Music and others.

Meanwhile, Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyers reportedly claimed Blackburn improperly filed charges against the mogul only to get media attention. Blackburn, however, defended himself by calling out the mogul's legal team, claiming that they have a "sick obsession" with him. The attorney further mentioned that while he found this flattering in the beginning, over time, it became "disturbing."
AllHipHop reported several statements by Tyrone Blackburn, among which the lawyer allegedly said,
"[Combs and Bad Boy Records’] counsels attach themselves to a single sentence of an opinion of an unrelated case to try and classify the plaintiff’s pleading as ‘salacious’ or meritless with the sole intent of forcing defendants to ‘settle."
He continued,
"For starters, plaintiff never requested a settlement from defendants SC and BBR. The plaintiff intends to hold SC and BBR accountable for their actions before a jury of their peers."
For the unversed, April Lampros sued Diddy for s*xual assault, battery, infliction of emotional distress, and gender-motivated violence.
April Lampros' lawyer Tyrone Blackburn had called out music mogul Diddy's legal team
While Combs's legal team had questioned Blackburn's credibility, the lawyer too had responded by accusing them of being too "obsessed" with him. In addition to Lampros, Blackburn had also been representing Rodney Jones, who sued Combs back in February.
Lampros and Jones are two of the many complainants who have filed s*xual assault suits against the mogul since last year. While the first case was filed by Diddy's former partner Cassie Ventura, the suit settled quite quickly. Since then, several people have come forward and spoken against the rapper.
April filed her lawsuit on May 23, 2024, in a New York courtroom. Pitchfork obtained the court documents back then, and it showed she met Diddy for the first time in 1994 while attending New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. The outlet further mentioned that according to the complaint,
"When she met Mr. Combs, Ms. Lampros shared with him her dreams of working in the fashion industry and Mr. Combs promised to mentor her and help her by introducing her to music and fashion industry executives as well as assisting her with finding work."
According to the suit, Diddy was only 24 years old then when he met Lampros, and he reportedly "love-bombed" her. His kind gestures allegedly soon changed into coercive and an abusive relationship, as per the complainant. It was further revealed in the suit that Lampros allegedly had "four terrifying s*xual encounters" with the rapper.
As of now, Sean "Diddy" Combs has been under federal investigation for alleged s*x trafficking.
