Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal team has accused lawyer Tony Buzbee of using the rapper's name to gain publicity after Buzbee filed six new lawsuits against the music mogul in a fresh wave of accusations on October 14.

On September 16, 2024, the rapper was arrested on three charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in pr*stitution. Since then, his prosecutor Tony Buzbee has decided to represent several alleged victims of the media mogul and has filed new lawsuits seemingly every week.

This reportedly didn't sit well with Diddy's legal team, who have now accused Buzbee of using the rapper's name to boost his public image. Furthermore, they have claimed that the accusations are all baseless.

Following Diddy's arrest, Buzbee Law Firm and lawyers from the AVA Law Group set up a s*xual abuse hotline number so that his alleged victims could come forward and talk about their experiences.

In a press conference on October 1, 2024, Tony Buzbee and his co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale reported that in just 10 days, over 3000 people claimed to have been abused by the rapper.

However, rapper's legal team wasn't impressed by the hotline number, claiming on October 15 (via TMZ):

"The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today's barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity."

Furthermore, they asserted that the accusations were baseless.

"In court, the truth will prevail. That Mr. Combs has never s*xually assaulted anyone -- adult or minor, man or woman," they stated.

On Monday (October 14), a fresh set of six lawsuits were filed against Diddy in the federal court of Manhattan, accusing him of s*xually assaulting men, r*ping women and even molesting a minor.

The accusers were part of a group of over 100 alleged victims of the rapper who are reportedly on the course of taking legal action according to the prosecutors. Two of the six were filed by anonymous women (identified as Jane Doe) and four by men (identified as John Doe).

One of the cases was filed by a man in North Carolina, who alleged that the media mogul fondled his genitals at one of his "freak offs" in Long Island's Hamptons in 1998.

According to the anonymous victim, the rapper ordered him to drop his pants during a discussion about him possibly breaking into the music industry at the party. According to John Doe, he complied out of fear and power imbalance, later realizing that he had been s*xually assaulted.

One John Doe was allegedly a security guard at Combs' Hamptons party in 2006. He alleged that the hip-hop mogul gave him drinks laced with drugs and went on to s*xually assault him. The other two John Doe have filed similar lawsuits against - one claiming that the rapper forced him to perform oral s*x while the other asserted that he was drugged and assaulted by multiple men including Diddy.

Two lawsuits were also filed by women, both of whom alleged that the rapper threatened and r*ped them.

Diddy's legal team didn't immediately respond to the new lawsuits filed against the Bad Boy Records founder. However, a lawyer claimed that his client “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus” on October 1.
