Diddy recently appeared at the court after his arrest on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution on September 16, 2024. He was taken to a federal court in Manhattan for a hearing and his mother Janice Combs also arrived alongside Diddy's six children.

However, Janice faced an unexpected situation outside the court since she was heckled when she came for her son's hearing on Thursday, October 10. A video of the same has gone viral on different social media platforms.

The clip shows that Janice was entering the court and an anonymous person referred to Diddy, also known as Sean "Love" Combs, by saying:

"He's a predator. Your son is a predator!"

Apart from this, several other videos recorded at the court have been trending on social media. One of them shows Sean's mother and his children coming out of the court by holding each other's hands. A huge crowd of reporters were spotted waiting outside the court as they attempted to capture photos while the entire group entered a black vehicle.

A source for People magazine also addressed the aftermath of Sean's mother and children at the court by saying:

"The kids were very happy to support their father. The whole family was. They are united in their support and he was happy to see them all there."

Diddy's legal issues became worse with a grand jury indictment acquired by Page Six a day after his arrest, which included details related to the evidence found during the raids conducted at his houses in March this year. The evidence included items that were used in alleged s*x events called Freak Offs that were organized at hotel rooms.

On the other hand, attorney Tony Buzbee announced his decision to represent 120 individuals, who were alleged victims of Sean, on October 1, 2024, during a press conference. Buzbee said that Sean would be accused of "violent s*xual assault or r*pe, facilitated s*x with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, s*xual abuse of minors."

Diddy's mother responds to the allegations against him in a lengthy statement

Janice Combs responded to the charges against her son through a statement shared on the official Instagram page of Figgers Law Firm on October 6. Janice said that she was heartbroken to see her son being judged based on a "narrative created out of lies."

Janice said that Diddy did not have a chance to prove his innocence, adding that he deserves a chance to do the same at the court. She continued:

"I am not here to portray my son as perfect because he is not. He has made mistakes in his past, as well have. My son may not have been entirely truthful about certain things, such as denying he has ever gotten violent with an ex-girlfriend when the hotel's surveillance showed otherwise."

Janice also gave an example of people whose freedom was taken away after being wrongly convicted. She again referred to Diddy by saying:

"Watching the world make jokes and laugh at my son's life crumbling before our eyes is something I can never forget. It is truly agonizing to watch the world turn against my son so quickly and easily over lies and misconception, without ever hearing his side or affording him the opportunity to present his side."

Janice said that false claims were being made against Sean by people who were seeking financial benefits. She stated that false accusations of s*xual assault can prevent justice for real victims and the federal government was now using the false allegations against her son to prosecute him. She ended by writing that her son was not a monster and added:

"I ask his supporters, fans, colleagues, friends, and the public, to not judge him before you've had the chance to hear his side. I beg you to think about those who have been wrongfully prosecuted, to remember that not everyone who has made mistakes in life deserves to have their entire existence judged by a single action or a few mistakes."

Meanwhile, the Manhattan federal court has finalized a new date for Diddy's trial and it is now scheduled for May 5, 2025. The artist had been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn following his arrest last month.
