Claims of Keyshia Cole having a daughter have spread rapidly on X. A user on the platform falsely reported this as the singer seemingly confirmed her single status following her relationship with Hunxho.

Popular X gossip page @mymixtapez uploaded a tweet that showed a woman dancing. The video was originally uploaded by Instagram user ‘customizeeme,’ on the social networking site with the caption “Megan Ain’t Got Nun On These Knees.” Meanwhile, My Mixtapez said in their tweet that they uploaded on November 11:

“Keyshia Cole’s daughter says she has better knees than Megan Thee Stallion.”

The tweet was quick to go viral and amass over five million views, with several netizens clarifying that the Instagram user is not Keyshia Cole’s daughter in reality. X’s Community Notes also clarified the same by saying:

“Keyshia Cole has two sons. No daughters.”

Keyshia Cole is a mother to Daniel Gibson Jr. and Tobias Khale.

Keyshia Cole is parents to two boys from separate relationships

The Love singer welcomed her oldest son Daniel on March 2, 2010. She co-parents her son with former NBA player Daniel Gibson. The duo got engaged on January 1, 2010, before tying the knot on May 21, 2011. The two shared their wedding with the world through their BET reality television series, Keyshia and Daniel: Family First.

The two called it quits in 2014, with Keyshia announcing their divorce in 2017. Their divorce was later finalized in 2020. Cole also took to Instagram to express her joy over their separation. She said:

“I’m so… happy my divorce is FINALLY, FINAL!!! This is not a SHADE POST PROMISE! Just a genuinely happy post, that that weight is lifted from over both our heads #PARTY IN #MALIBU”

The Oakland, California native then dated fellow singer Niko Khale from November 2017 until October 2020. The duo welcomed Tobias into the world on August 1, 2019.

Speaking about parenting and the struggles that come with being a working parent, Cole said in an interview with Essence in March 2022:

“My youngest child, his father, takes him every other week. He’s really hands-on, probably because he’s so little right now. My oldest really wants me to leave him alone as much as possible – I try not to – but his father is there as well ... Also, I have never had a real nanny, somebody that helps me keep a schedule. For the most part, I’ve been trying to do things alone."

She also discussed motherhood in her 2023 Lifetime documentary, Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story. The Grammy-nominated singer said:

“Sometimes we don't agree on things and when my kids hurt, I hurt. So they just know Mama Bear is going to come, so don't play. We work it out though.”
