On Tuesday, January 7, a video clip from one of Plaqueboymax's live sessions was uploaded on X. In the video, posted by @FearedBuck, Plaqueboymax was in an Airbnb with several rappers, including Fivio Foreign and Lil Tjay, sitting at the front, eating from a takeout container.
Throughout the video, the YouTuber asked Lil Tjay and Fivio several times not to smoke inside the room, as it was an Airbnb property, adding "I appreciate you though," in the end.
Towards the end of the clip, the duo had seemingly had enough and decided to leave the property, but not before Plagueboymax shook both their hands.
Once the video was on social media, rapper Asian Doll weighed in on the incident, retweeting a story about it with the caption:
"Don’t invite rappers if they can’t smoke"
The Dallas-native rapper's retweet has since received over 10 million views, with some netizens speaking in favor of her, while others opposing her opinion.
"I agree!! Smokers feel more comfortable at places they not familiar with when they can smoke. I feel them tho, if I can’t smoke either bye. Im tryna vibe who are all yall lol." - commented an X user.
"not being able to have simple respect for someone because you’re an addict has nothing to do with being a rapper…" - wrote another.
Plaqueboymax reacted to Drake mentioning his live session in the Drizzmas streaming
Asian Doll isn't the only rapper to talk about Plaqueboymax's live session in the recent past. Last month, Drake brought it up in his Drizzmas live stream with Adin Ross on December 26.
Drake told Ross:
"And I was like watching like Plaqueboymax. I was watching like a live studio session and sh*t and I was like yo Adin would just troll me so hard for watching this. I watched for like an hour.”
Plaqueboymax reacted to Drizzy's mention of his live sessions on two different occasions. Per a Tribune article published on Tuesday, January 7, the YouTuber appeared to be blushing at his mention in Drizzmas, saying:
"This a blessing like I genuinely like I don’t know like this is crazy bro. Drake was just sitting and watching us making a song. It’s crazy, it’s crazy."
However, in another reaction video that dropped later, the YouTuber appeared to be frustrated with Drake's mention of his live session, adding:
"One thing I will say. This just me keeping it tall. I don’t like even though it’s like Drake. I don’t like how he said that sht. I don’t f**k with that sht at all."
The Twitch streamer continued:
"How he said he was like, he laughed like ‘I was watching Plaqueboymax’ like what are you laughing at? I don’t f**k with that sh*t. Why would Adin troll you for watching me? This isn't a game or something."
Elsewhere in his live stream, Plaqueboymax also shared that Drake started following him on social media after he took a stand for himself, claiming that it meant the streamer was "doing something right."
Plaqueboymax also shared with his audience that he had his first-ever conversation with the One Dance rapper over text messages (which most likely happened on Instagram). The YouTuber added that he wouldn't be leaking the messages as it was a "private conversation," but gave the rapper a shout-out.
Drake, during his Drizzmas stream with Adin Ross, offered several giveaways to his fans, including $100,000 for an artist or entrepreneur in Toronto, a luxury car (G-Wagon or Lamborghini), a couple's dream vacation, a trip for two to see him perform in Australia in 2025, and one year’s rent for two people.
