Lil Yachty has been trending online after he expressed criticism towards his close friend Mitch and rapper Karrahboo, also known as Karrah Schuster, in an Instagram Live session on August 22. Yachty and Mitch have also been in the headlines after they had a verbal dispute in the podcast, A Safe Place, which is hosted by the latter.
The criticism towards Karrahboo was linked to the rumors that emerged after Yachty revealed through another live video last month that Schuster was not a part of the Concrete Boys collective. Yachty stated at the time that he wouldn't say anything negative about Karrahboo and added;
"I wish her the best in her career. That's that. … I don't have anything really bad to say or anything good to say. We just split, you know?"
Meanwhile, in his recent live video, Lil Yachty said that Mitch launched his podcast only after being pursued by the former about the same. Yachty said that he never wanted to do a podcast and continued:
"Got millions of dollars, I don't need to talk to other rappers. I did the podcast for Mitch. I done put $400,000 in Mitch pocket. I ain't f*cking with Mitch."
Yachty additionally claimed that he always offers help to others and is not getting anything else from the podcast.
Notably, Yachty came live on Instagram to address his frustration after a video of his August 22 interview with Mitch and Key Glock went viral on social media. In the viral episode, Yachty was heard claiming that Mitch had once allegedly planned to steal an expensive watch by raising a gun. Yachty was angry at Mitch for not clarifying anything about the conversation they had in A Safe Place.
On the other hand, Lil Yachty's live video grabbed a lot of attention on social media and netizens took to the comments section of a post shared by Victor Baez on X (Twitter) to share their reactions. One of them wrote:
"Drake cut him off and now he's coming at everybody for money."
Majority of the people were spotted criticizing Lil Yachty as they reacted to the clip.

Users were also seen supporting Mitch in the reactions.

Netizens continued slamming Lil Yachty for the words he said in the clip.

Lil Yachty made some shocking claims about Karrahboo in the live video
As mentioned, Yachty's criticism was not only restricted to Mitch since he also targeted Karrahboo during the live session. Lil said in the clip he wrote most of the lyrics for Schuster's songs and even provided money and jewelry to her. He further stated:
"I wrote every f*cking verse you've done. I dressed you. I dressed all five of y'all n*ggas bro. I dressed five n*ggas every time we stepped out of the house. I put an outfit on everybody. I put eight carats of earrings on everybody ear. I put three chains on all y'all neck."
Lil Yachty also claimed that he gave some expensive watches to Karrahboo and expressed his anger to the latter for making accusations of being bullied. Yachty additionally described the entire behavior as disrespectful.
While Lil Yachty criticized Mitch in the video, the latter has now responded through X, writing that the Glock interview clip does not represent his friendship with Yachty. He also wrote:
"I ain't nobody lil bro never been check my history I had stats before I met bro and got even more now, all I ever wanted to do was just focus on the music and being involved in the culture in a positive way I hope none of this hinders that."
For now, Yachty has not shared any response to Mitch's tweets and further updates on the same are currently awaited.
