Kendrick Lamar took to the stage at Kia Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles, for 'The Pop Out: Ken and Friends' on June 19, 2024, where he performed the catchy Drake-diss Not Like Us six times in a row, including an instrumental version.

Throughout each performance, more and more dancers, rappers, NBA stars, and members of LA's various gangs joined Lamar on stage. The Compton rapper's electrifying performance had the crowd yelling the line "certified loverboy certified pedop**le" louder each time.

Lamar's setlist at the show saw him perform most of his Drake-diss tracks, excluding meet the grahams. Hip-hop fans were thrilled at the rapper's energy on stage, with jests and hoaxes about the Canadian rapper's death after the six consecutive Not Like Us performances circulating on social media.

More fans joined in on the joke, claiming he had died after hearing that Lamar united every LA gang by performing Not Like Us multiple times.

"Popular rapper Drake has been found dead in his home after watching the Ken and Friends show, as Kendrick Lamar has performed "Not Like Us" 4 times Fly Low. October 24th-June 19th 2024," jested another person.
"BREAKING NEWS: DRAKE, 37 FOUND DEAD AT THE KIA FORUM IN LOS ANGELES," added someone.
"DRAKE FOUND DEAD AT 37," wrote another person.

Some drew parallels between the line, "I see dead people" from Not Like Us, to the Canadian rapper's reaction after hearing about the show.

"I SEE DEAD PEOPLE AND DRAKE'S ONE OF THEM. NOT LIKE US BEING PLAYED AND SUNG BY A STADIUM OF PEOPLE SIX F*CKING TIMES IS WILD," tweeted someone.
"Drake you are DEAD N*GGAAAAA," added another.
"STOP IT KENDRICK, DRAKE IS DEAD ALREADY," wrote someone else.

It is important to note the above tweets are memes and death hoaxes, and Drake is reported to be okay. He last uploaded a picture on Father's Day of himself, his father, Dennis, and his son, Adonis, on June 17, 2024.

Not Like Us was Kendrick Lamar's final Drake diss track

The hip-hop industry witnessed a diss battle unlike any other in April and May as two heavyweight rappers, Drake and K. Dot, dropped a series of back-and-forth diss tracks. Each track was more scathing than the previous, with the two hurling serious allegations at each other.

On May 4, 2024, Kendrick Lamar dropped his final diss track, Not Like Us, and the song instantly took over the world. The catchy DJ Mustard-produced track had over 87 million views on YouTube at the time of the article and was heavily played in clubs, with footage of various celebrities dancing to the song as well.

According to Vulture, 'The Pop Out: Ken and Friends' saw Lamar close the show by performing the track six times, including an instrumental version. Dr. Dre kicked off the first live debut of the song by whispering the "I see dead people" line.

As each playthrough progressed, Lamar was joined by other performers like DJ Mustard, YG, Big Boy, and Steve Lacy, to name a few. Other known names that took to the stage during the rapper's performance include basketball legends Russell Westbrook and Demar Derozan.

The electrifying show closed out with a group photo on stage, with Lamar paying homage to the late Nipsey Hussle and Kobe Bryant. He also said the idea of the Pop Out was to bring everyone together, saying:

“This sh*t ain’t got nothing to do with no muthaf*ckin’ song at this point, it ain’t got nothing to do with no back-and-forth records. It got everything to do with this moment right here. That’s what this sh*t was about. To bring all of us to muthaf*cking together, you know what I’m saying. That’s what this sh*t is about.”

Kendrick Lamar kicked off his performance at 'The Pop Out: Ken and Friends' with his second diss track, Euphoria. According to Variety, he made a minor alteration to a verse, claiming he would respect the Canadian rapper more if he returned the late 2Pac's ring that he purchased at an auction.

Kendrick Lamar also performed other songs from his albums like DNA, HUMBLE, Alright, Money Trees, and Collard Blue. Other rappers who performed at the Pop Out included Tyler the Creator, Roddy Ricch, YG, Jay Rock, and Schoolboy Q, to name a few.
